How did you get xbox version to work? Is it gamepass? Mine will notnload mods in. Keep getting error

does not work for xbox i push play on wemod but time the game loads up nothing works than tells me these mods only work if launched with wemod please close game and try again idk what im doing wrong but id apprieciate any help at all

Sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll inform the team about the issues. I’ll post an update as soon as I hear from them.
Edit: I just noticed that this has been reported previously. According to the testers, the trainer will not work unless you have a game save. They suggested launching the game first without WeMod. Create or save a campaign. Play for a few minutes, then save the game. Close the game and re-launch the game using Wemod by clicking “Play”.

Tried the save method, played for bout 20 mins. Saved and exit game. Still not working on xbox game pass version
I did this still not working 
played about 1h save closed the game. Opened using wemod. Soon the game lunches wemod stop playing and says it can load the mod. Restarted the pc 3 times. Tried many times. Nothing seems to work.

Can confirm gamepass is doing the same thing for me

Me too still getting no luck. I cant get the womod to load. All other games works jusy fine. I guess there is something with the anti cheat system.

Is there anyway you can check the xbox game pass version? Its still not loading mods into game. Cuts off saying need to play with wemod, which i do. All other games are fine.

I just found a way to get mine to work. Go into firewall list. Manually add wemod if not on list. Check both private and public. Then ok it. Mine now loads mods into xbox gamepass version. Easiest way to find it is in search bar.

Did u look on firewall list? I had wemod overlay, but not wemod cheat/trainer. So i manually added it using the browse files tab. When the next screen opens up, use the search bar to look for wemod cheats/trainer. Click once and confirm add. Then check both private and public boxes. And ok it.
Yes i have we cheat/trainer but i dont have overlay
With most (if not all) souls-like games you have to be offline for Wemod to work, but there’s at least one vendor in Lords of the Fallen that requires you to be online to perchase from.
do I have to keep exiting, going online, purchasing stuff, going offline, then turning Wemod back on? or will Wemod work while “online”?
Any of my gamepass people ever get this to work?
