hey stn when i open infinity and am playing mafia 3 the games fps drops up and down heaps and gets jumpy i dont know what do please help it like it gets laggy n stuff i notice this only happens in fullcreen but with borders screen it dont
I don’t see how Infinity could be the source of the problem but since I think it’s not like that if Infinity isn’t activated its weird.
For now play with borderless screen, basically the same as fullscreen but you have the option to tab out easier.

Yeah i really don’t know how i can help lol…but i can say for sure that it’s not something infinity can cause.
Maybe your antivirus starts being aggressive when you go fullscreen? Or it could be the game itself?. Very weird
i think they did an update patch on 11th of November on steam. i added an exception to the fire wall for infinity and turned off windows defender and added exception to one of my antivirus the other antivirus i have i turned off because i could not find exception list on it because it only makes an exception if it finds a threat. i hope hear from you soon stn 
Which cheats aren’t working?
i think they work it just the game stutters and jumps the frames per second up n down from 60 to 29 to 16 to 42 when i have infinity open and if i dont have the cheats turned on it still does it but when i dont have infinity open the game runs fine in fullscreen
@nb92 does it lag when infinity is open and the trainer isn’t loaded into the game?
i just tested the game again and noticed it lags during game play when i start the game through infinity or if i start it through steam then start the game button in infinity while im in game it goes funny there to
Yeah i don’t know why its lagging for you, the update has nothing to do with it. I really don’t think its infinity though.
I guess play in border-less fullscreen?.
hey stn i noticed that the unlimited electronics isnt working and the border screen is lil choppy but not as much as fullscreen i was just playing the game just then maybe i need restart my whole game?
I still don’t see the connection with Infinity even if it’s just that laggy with it turned on. I would test it for myself sadly I don’t own the game. Can you Verify your steam files? I hope you do know how to do it. Can you give me a quick spec show of your pc please? CPU and RAM are the most important ones.
yea i know how to verify il try that and my rig is a gtx geforce 1070 16gb ram i5 6600 cpu @ 3.30ghz windows 10 64 bit
From the specs there shouldn’t be a problem in any way of ram or cpu usage… That’s really strange. It’s only with Mafia 3 right?

yeah only with mafia 3. but if i dont start the game with infinity and just play the game through steam instead itl run fine and i noticed i cant get the unlimited electronics cheat to work to i thought maybe the trainer might need an update because it been 2 months hope hear from you soon
Well I can’t confirm if it needs an update or not STN made the trainer. Post in the trainer specific thread that the trainer need maybe an update and if more people say yes to it STN will look into it.
Other then that I’m trying to think about what changes…
Try picking the priority of mafia 3 to high in the task-manager

Trainer’s update time only matters if the game gets updated after that. I am thinking to suggest frank to remove that completely and replace with game timestamp or something as that is a better indicator. Afaik, the game has not been updated for months and every cheat works.
Anyway, the electronics cheat needs special instructions to use. Read the linked thread^.

Frank just said he will release an update today that might fix your issue. Try it later, not sure when it will be released at what hour that is, maybe it helps you though. Also snake suggested to see in the task manager if any application is perfomance heavy while playing and using infinity.
