Mass Effect Legendary Edition (ME1) Cheats and Trainer for Steam

Thank you so much for the trainer. I paid my dues getting every achivo back in the xbox360 days of release, getting to play this again but faster is a treat.
Seems like I can’t get the infinite credits cheat to work though, sadly. Everything else does.

I answered my own question, turns out I’m stupid. Thank you!

Last week it worked fine.
I just tried to load ot (start the game on steam, then Wemod) and it doesnt work. Why? Help please

Hi, please ensure that you are utilizing the correct trainer for the game and have selected the latest version of the trainer.

Also, try to hit the “Play” button after you have loaded your saved game and are not on the main menu. See if this helps.

i have no clue where to post this but im trying to see if it is possible to do a mass effect legendary edition xbox version mod list since it is on game pass.

Done all that and it isn’t working for me. Launched the launcher, picked ME2, loaded my save and wandered around for a bit. Tabbed over to click play on WeMod and it just gives me the ‘We’re having trouble starting/Finding your open games’ error.

Hi, since you mentioned ME2, please make sure you have selected the ME2 game as well. The trainer and game version should match. If you have done so and still persists, verify your game integrity files and try again.

Anyone having trouble with ME2, refer to the picture posted a bit above. Had not used WeMod since that update, it’s a drop down menu to select ME1, 2 and 3 now. Thanks for the picture, it helped me!

Thanks i thought i am blind and not seeing the options to choose which ME i am playing

what about me2 specific stuff like mineral’s because there are none in the legendary edition it would be really helpful thanks love the program btw

I’m confused. I played Legendary Edition a while back, and all three games were supported on here. Why is it only LE1 now?

Hey there, to access other game versions of the trainer, go to Mod settings and select “Game Source.” This will display the available options for the Mass Effect Legendary Edition trilogy.

For ME 2, There was a trainer done by another user that had the ability for rapid fire, it was very effective for the ML-77 Missile launcher and other heavy weapons. I don’t see an option for rapid fire on here. Meaning I may need to find that old trainer that has the rapid fire trainer option and use that one instead.

And yes, with rapid fire, Ulimited ammo and no reload, the ML-77 was sheer beauty against hostiles.

I’ve been trying to get the trainer to launch in ME1, but it keeps failing and saying that it can’t run. Does anyone else have this problem or know a solution? I’ve tried to follow the launch instructions.

I know it has been over a year since you posted this, but there is a workaround that should work for the issue of the snipers and rocket launchers one shotting you on insanity difficulty. So this necro is mainly for others who are experiencing this.

The original game used .ini files that are not packed into a file called Coalesced_INT.bin, located at Drive:.…\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME1\BioGame\CookedPCConsole

You can decompile this file with Mass Effect Mod Manager - a special application used for modding all Mass Effect games. In it you will find a file called BIOGame.ini and you can edit certain parameters within. You are specifically looking for the following and you need to change the numbers as follows:-

m_fBleedOutMinDamageResistance=0.25f, change number to =-0.999f, m_fBleedOutCasualMinDamageResistance=0.1f, change to =-0.999f, m_fBleedOutThreshold=0.25f, change to =0.999f

These next two you need to add into the coding:-

m_fHenchDamageResistance=0.75, change to =-0.75, m_fHenchCasualDamageResistance=0.5, change to =-0.5

It should look like this if you want the TL;DR

m_fBleedOutMinDamageResistance=-0.999f, m_fBleedOutCasualMinDamageResistance=-0.999f
m_fHenchDamageResistance=-0.75
m_fHenchCasualDamageResistance=-0.5
m_fBleedOutThreshold=0.999f

Be aware that it is possible it can make the survival game mode of Pinnacle Station (this can be modded into the Legendary Edition) impossible to finish as nothing can kill you. In such cases you’ll need to revert to the original Coalesced_INT.bin.

So to this properly, follow these steps:-

  • Download Mass Effect Mod Manager
  • Make two copies of Coalesced_INT.bin and put one somewhere safe and the other in a folder for editing
  • Decompile the copied Coalesced_INT.bin for editing
  • Edit BioGame.ini
  • Compile the copied Coalesced_INT.bin for editing
  • Drag the compiled Coalesced_INT.bin into the install path and overwrite the original one
  • Make a copy of the compiled Coalesced_INT.bin and put that somewhere safe

You now have a copy of both the original and the edited version that you can swap around where needed to complete Pinnacle Station and what not.

I’m sorry it’s long winded, it’s just not a simple thing to do. I think there is also a console command to give you a super armour that makes you pretty much immortal but that also needs some tinkering to work.

Not working at all - “Loading mods…” followed by an error “Unable to launch game” (this is with the game - ME2 LE - already running).
