Mass effect two on Origin

Wemod won’t detect mass effect 2 digital deluxe is running after it started the game without a problem. This has worked for a couple of years now, but it just stopped lately??? or suggestions would be most appreciated.

Assuming you’re using the Steam version:

  • If you haven’t already, attach a custom install of the game with the .exe of the game: C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Mass Effect 2\Binaries\MassEffect2.exe

  • Another thing to try is to press play in WeMod after the game is already running.

Thanks so much for the rapid reply. I did that and no, I’m using the Origin version. But it has always worked with that. At any rate I got it all worked out and it seems to be stable now.

I had also tried the play button with the game running, it didn’t work.

You’re welcome! I just checked and it doesn’t look like there is a trainer for the Origin version yet. There will most likely be issues as you try different cheats.
