So i am looking into RGHing one of my consoles ( have a jasper and a falcon ) both can be RGH’d and have not been updated for awhile. I was wondering which console would be better to RGH for just offline modding and gaming, as i am looking into adding a very large HDD and this is where the real question is. How large of a HDD can a RGH’d console use? i have heard rumors that it is only 2TB and i want to confirm this, if it is only 2TB what would happen if i used a 3TB HDD, would the last 1TB just not be recognized? thanks
Any HDD, as in any size like a 120GB would be just fine.
so if i hooked up a 3TB hdd to a RGH i would be able to use all 3TB’s for games and emulators, etc?
Hmmm i have never seen anyone using a 3TB HDD on a RGH but if i am wrong forgive me.
Why not just use a regular xbox HDD?
Umm as long as you can format it you can use it to a certain point. I think fatxplorer is the only took that can format up to 2 TB for Xbox use
Because retail hard drives are so small and i would like to store large amounts of games on it to play.
As Chris said as long as you format right it should work.
okay because oddly on newegg a 3tb barracuda is 169 an a 2tb barracuda is 209… same RPM and cache…
The 2TB just has swag, i have a 2TB and i bought it for 100 from staples 
Not related to the HDD at all but RGH whichever console has a lower dashboard or has 14699, 14719 on phats is just horrible on RGH on the 15*** dash isn’t possible yet unless you already have your CPU key
