Want to get a more substantial keyboard. I saw a Razor one that had clickey keys and said “mechanical” on it… What does that mean?
Any advantages? Any disadvantages? Any recommendations under £100?

Mechanical keyboards use mechanical switches instead of membrane. It is all preference but most people like mechanical keyboards. The next thing you have to look at is what color switches if they are using MX Cherry switches. I personally like reds but a lot of people much prefer browns.
Blue: Tactile + clicky feedback
Brown: Tactile
Red: None
They also have different weights. I honestly don’t know what prices are like over there but corsair is becoming more popular. I know steelseries just released a new mechanical keyboard for $100. I personally like ducky keyboards.
What do you mainly use your computer for? That will determine the type of switch you’d be most productive with. For example, I have Cherry MX Green switches, which are a pleasure to use for programming, but too heavy and clacky for gaming.

Looking through the information you provided, I’m pretty sure I will need Cherry MX Red/Black or Brown. It’s mostly for gaming on FPSs with the occasional document to type up. Is there a keyboard that has these installed, or how can I check?
Just Google “mx red keyboards”. There’s a ton of them.
You can’t get them mixed so you have to decide. Most companies that make mechanical keyboards offer them in the most common ones(red, blue, brown, green, clear). Look at Ducky, Corsair, CoolerMaster, Steelseries, ect.
Are Roccat any good?
