Minecraft Map Upload

I’m not sure what the issue is but there is another way to do it. Open one of your own saves in Horizon and then drag in the Minecraft save/map along side it,now copy and paste the 3 ID’s from your save over to the Minecraft one, now choose to “Save Rehash and Resign” twice to be safe and now choose to “Save to Device” in the upper right hand corner of the Minecraft save and it will be saved to your device.

Here’s how it will look with both saves open in Horizon: [details=Open Me]

Like I said above, just copy the 3 ID’s from your save on the right to the Mincraft save on the left and then save, rehash and resign twice and save to device. Good luck.

OK so the issue in my case was a USB drive formatted along time ago by my XBOX, get a new USB drive, plug it into the 360, let it format it and then move the required profile and one previous Minecraft game save to the device. Then plug back into PC and launch Horizon, now it finds the profile and allows me to add extra saves I’ve downloaded from Youtube. Good stuff…

And thanks for the response Steve Wonda.

can you guys help, i try to go on horizon but it tells me it is in off line mode and i cant download maps or anything

You don’t download maps through the Horizon program, but you do use Horizon to put maps that you download from other online sources onto your flash drive. You can still do this with Horizon in offline mode. Youtube is a great place to download maps through links posted in videos and this place is great too, MCDN360.com

where do you download the other program

yes u also need a game to use it can be any minecraft load will not over load it

Here’s a link to this helpful video.

hi
guys

up town funk

Can someone help me get maps on Minecraft

What do you need help with? (Be more specific)

what about for the xbox one ? can you do this - if do how?

The only way possible to do this on X1 at the moment is to get your custom map on 360, and then transfer the world over to X1.

What an out of control thread with everyone jumping on the bandwagon, it’s like the blind leading the blind… :stuck_out_tongue:
Please just be a little bit more specific about what the problem is or what you would like to achieve and then someone will be able to address each individual problem.

ok so here goes, for the past year ive been downloading various minecraft maps for my daughter on her xbox360
i havent given her any in over a month but went to do it today
ive been using an older version of horizon for some time and just declined the update everytime… i decided to update today and noticed the xbox had its “new” update too.
so i went to drag the new maps onto her profile as usual and all it comes up with in the minecraft menus now is damaged file.
ive tried replacing some of the older maps and still the same problem…
i uninstalled horizon and minecraft, reinstalled both, downloaded fresh maps (old that worked & new ones) and still then same problem…
ive tried every which way to sync them to the profile on horizon but nothing works…
even tried a different formatted usb stick to cover all possibilites…

THIS IS FRYING MY BRAIN NOW…

over to the experts (you guys)

hope to hear from you soon

thanx in advance

Hi smiffster1978,

well there is only one way I use to get custom Minecraft maps on the Xbox 360, for play on the 360 or Xbox one, have you tried having a map that already exist on the console, i.e. a world that way created on the Xbox its self.

  1. Insert memory stick into Xbox navigate to system, storage and Minecraft
  2. Find a map/world that was already created on the Xbox
  3. copy that map to the memory stick
  4. make sure that you also copy the Xbox profile or have a copy available on the memory stick (this is so you can sign the new map with the profile used on the Xbox using horizon)
  5. Insert memory stick into computer/mac open horizon if you haven’t already
  6. Find the custom maps and drag them to horizon
  7. Ensure that the information on the custom map match the profile
  8. save/rehash and resign
  9. Close the menu for the custom map
  10. Navigate to your memory stick using horizon
  11. Load the memory stick
  12. Go to games and Minecraft
  13. Expand the menu of Minecraft
  14. Right click and inject the custom maps that you had sign using the Xbox profile
  15. Wait till the inject is done
  16. Remove memory stick from computer/mac
  17. Insert memory stick into Xbox
  18. Copy all the worlds over to your Xbox hard drive or cloud storage
  19. Open Minecraft and see if the maps work.

If this doesn’t work then, it was worth a try
This may or may not work, it’s been a while since I’ve used this technique

If this doesn’t work, please post a new thread in this forum, thanks.

This thread is pretty old so please don’t bump old threads in the future.
