Mods not working

i Have yakuza 3-5 remastered and it says the games are compatible but the mods wont load into the game

  1. Which store did you buy the games from? Or are they cracked/pirated?

  2. What exactly happens when you try to load the cheats? Is there any specific error message or does the trainer work but the cheats just flick off when you turn them on?

  3. Have you added WeMod as an exception to your antivirus? - "Wemod failed loading the cheats into your game" / "We’re having trouble downloading the cheats" - #2 by Ravenfyre

i got them on steam itll say the game cant load the mods

yes but for some reason i cant add the app data file but i was able to add the local one

im having trouble i added the said file but its still seeing it as a threat

Your problem is McAfee, Get rid of it.

We suggest malwarebytes or Norton, Anything but McAfee.

Completely unrelated to this game, but I get the same error on most games but not on one. Is this a McAfee thing as well?

EDIT:
I’ve found if I disable Live Scanning on McAfee I can use all mods on most games now.
