So, go to set up my office today. Some furniture company donated the desk and chair for us in exchange for an ad in our magazine. Crazy comfy I must say.
Pics (Go back if you’re anti-Apple, lol. This is my work place. I’d love a gaming PC right now, but its not practical.)
Edit: Holy ****, never realized how much it costs. We got the chair and the desk for free from them. Very generous of them. Oh and the desk supports dry-erase markers
Whats wrong with it? For what I do at my job, like graphic design, photo-editing, and work in general nothing beats a Macbook as far as laptops go. They have the best battery life, they’re extremely practical, and the OS is great. The machine itself will last you longer than any other laptop on the market, I can guarantee that. My Macbook on the left is a Macbook from 2009 and works flawlessly on OS X Yosemite. And the new one I got is a late 2014 model. Retina display, 500GB SSD, 16GB of RAM. Just a power horse for video editing and graphic design. If you need a laptop for what laptops are used for and money isn’t much of a factor Macbooks are the way to go. Want a gaming PC? Or a desktop to keep at home? Simple, build a custom desktop to the specs you need for a great price. I love both OS’s, but each serves its own purpose.
Oh god no, that’d piss me off. This is like a soft material. Like a car floor mat.
Yeah, I’m gonna re-do them but if you look you can see that I have to lock up my monitors to the desk with special locks. Plus the desk isn’t against the wall so wire management is a little difficult.
I don’t multimonitor so much to be honest. Those screens are there when my personal clients come to my office and want to see a design and what not. Its for presentations more than anything. Whats up with that dock? What does it do exactly? o.O
And then enjoy! Gives you expansion, charging, and video outputs. You can undock and dock as you please, perfect for when I was using it going to and from meetings and the labs.
i wanna get a dock for my Mac that allows me too basically stand up my whole laptop. So it occupies less space on my desk since i use external mouse and keyboard.
Something like this, but maybe a little less clunky?
