Apparently, the problem is that 2K has equipped the game with an anti-cheat, which now makes it impossible to play the game with mods or CE. Great Stuff …
I think I have partially found a fix: To make the game work with WeMod again, just replace the .exe added with the new patch in the game folder with the one before the patch.
I did that, and can start the game normally with WeMod. The cheats seem to work as well. No crashes yet. The only thing I noticed is that the boat is somewhat empty. Could be a version mismatch (dunno, can see some other players but not a whole lot) or its just empty because no one is playing right now.
I would provide you with the .exe here, but I’m not sure if I’m allowed to upload files here.

The NBA 2K23 cheats have been updated!

Should be retested. Whenever i’m playing with cheats it closes 2k

Game crashes shortly after mods are loaded. WeMod still recognizes game as running after crash.

While the cheats are running and the game is open, the game will close at random moments and will need to relaunch. WeMod still recognizes that the game is launched and is being played, even after the game has crashed.

Just as the others have said, it works for a few minutes then crashes. The cheats are not in working order.

ya ahorita no me deja ni iniciar si quiera pongo jugar y se sale enseguida
game crashes less than 5 min. the mods work on mycareer still. idk maybe its still tryna kick in since WeMod just updated? Recommendation, if u play mycareer just play park til it gets fixed.
