New to XBox 360 & Horizon

Hi all, a couple weeks ago I bought a PS3 specifically to run an old copy of All Pro Football 2k8 I had laying around but hadn’t played in years. After spending about a week online and finding that all the amazing tools for editing rosters were really designed for XBox 360, not the PS3 version, I returned the PS3 and bought an XBox 360 4GB and XBox version of the game…for less than the PS3 cost me :wink:

Now I’ve d’loaded Horizon and have started working with the process of XBox 360->USB Stick->PC->Horizon->APF2k8 Editor for editing and back through a Horizon resign->USB Stick->XBox 360 to play. Really happy there are tools like Horizon and the APF2k8 Editor available to customize this game and make it 1000 times more fun to play and forums like this to give me some help if I get stuck :thumbsup:

I spent from 1986 to 2000 as a Software Engineer writing C/C++/Java/etc on a Unix system and did a lot of game modding on the PC platform - especially Grand Prix Legends - but this is the 1st time I’ve done any modding in the console world.

It sounds like you’re an older dude like myself, probably older since you were a software engineer in 86, and I was just playing NES, learning how to skateboard back then, and had heard the first studio album from what is my overall favorite band/group, the Beastie Boys.

I’m glad you found out about Xbox 360 save editing/modding and are enjoying it, there’s a lot you can do with Horizon and other editors. If you ever need help with something don’t be afraid to ask or start a thread about it. Again, welcome to the site. I hope to see you stick around and be active. Peace.
