I don’t think it’ll go after the default value

Hi Im new to cheat engine, and I’ve been using what I assume to be your sheet list, the one Dazzuh said he updated it to in the first post. Is that the latest one?
Pretty simple, too.
You need Cheat Engine and the Cheat Engine File (Updated to the one Skylar posted)
when you’ve installed cheat engine, just double click the .ct file and cheat engine will open, with a list of things you can edit at the bottom.
I was wondering if I might be able to make a request of something to add? I think the amount of bank space is abysmal, even after fully upgrading it can only have 16 things. I’m new to this time myself, but I was able to find a way to increase the amount. I didnt want to cheat much at first, so I changed it to 20 after fully upgrading it. I then saved it in case I wanted to make it higher later.
Later I decided to increase it a little more, but it doesn’t work… and now I have no way of scanning for it to find it again since Ive already raise my bank as high as it goes. Like I said I’m new at this, but I poked around some of the addresses in the list and I noticed they all have pointers. I have no idea what a pointer is or how it works… but I was hoping someone might be able to help me figure out how to do it correctly like the list I’m using? Or perhaps make an update to include an option to change bank inventory size?
Was also wondering, is it possible to increase the size of claptraps secret stash? Lastly I also noticed Skylar said he might have found a one for the key, but it wasnt tested. Has the key been figured out yet? It sounded like someone under him had it figured out, so would it be possible to add the key to the list as well?
I’m hoping one of you might be able to help me with this, thanks in advance.

you can edit back pack space instead of editing bank space, that way you can keep everything on you, note that the higher you mod it the more it screws up (I had mine at 100 and it wouldn’t scroll down every so often, even higher and it wouldn’t scroll at all)
The Keys work, the download for them is on the 2nd post of that thread i posted above, To use it. you launch the game as usual, in single player, go back to cheat engine and edit the value to 0, go back to borderlands and it should say you have 1 key, if you already have a key before doing this it wont work, you’d need to spend it first.
About the bank space, you could make a new save, get to sanctuary, mod your eridium, search for bank space, buy more, search again. keep the value in the tables then go back to your other save and change it.

Edit: Nope, key doesnt work for me… I didn’t preorder though, does that mean it wont work and there’s no way for me to get a key? I only wanted one really… are you sure it works? The value for me is just ?? and there’s no way to change it.
About the bank space… yea I tried doing it like you said on another character, then exiting and loading the main one. It doesnt work… by then I guess the number changes or something I dont know.
I heard theres a problem with having too much inventory, I only gave myself a little extra inventory space, 30… I prefer 0’s instead of random 27’s. I then set my bank to 20… like I said, zeros. I then got to thinking it was stupid I could store less stuff in my bank than on my person, thats when I found out about the problem.
On my Alt I found another problem, I figured Id set my bank size to 60, twice the size of my character, but after saving and reloading the bank size reverts back to 6, regardless of what your bank level is. I dropped it down to 30 and it “stuck” without any problems.
Still I have a problem with altering the bank size of my main character now that I cant increase bank with eridium anymore and find the ever changing variable anymore. I was hoping someone here knew how to work pointers so they could fix it… since Im guessing thats what is wrong with the bank size.
I’m new to cheat engine like I said, and am not familliar with how to do it. Any help figuring it out?
Haven’t got a clue, i’ve had cheat engine for awhile but never done too much work with it. (Main reason I could use cheat engine rather easily is cause it’s exactly the same as modding games on android)
also, if you register on the “shift code” thing in “Extras” in the main menu you get a key, use that one, spend it then do what I said above. I don’t think it’ll work unless you’ve used a key since the game counts how much keys you’ve used.
I don’t understand the Bank thing. I’ve never used it. I increased my Backpack a little and when it gets nearly full I just sort my weapons and mods out.
Now I’m into the game a little, I only keep one of each kind of weapon but try to mix the elementals; ie. FIRE Sniper Rifle, COROSIVE SMG, EXPLOSIVE Pistol, etc as I don’t see the point of carrying 3 SMG’s. If I run out of Ammo on one, none of the others are any good anyway.

The “??” value means that you have updated, this only works on 1.0.0 to my knowledge and testing.
there are 3 different key values, 2 work, one doesn’t. the one that doesnt is the “??” one, but as far as I know you need to have used at least 1 key before this method works.
What I am saying is, nothing works after 1.0.0.
All the values are now showing up as “??” on the version I am on. (Not sure which it is)
But when I downgrade to 1.0.0, it works fine.
Oh, The Cheat engine table was made to work with the steam version.

How do I downgrade? Im on steam btw… >.> is it possible? My version right now is 1.0.1, must have just been updated.
Also the 1 key I get from Shift, is it 1 key for all my characters, or just 1 period?
Edit: Well I got the key thing to work at least. 
Can get the keys to sit on 255 as I open the chest indefinitely. Was kind of let down though, I was expecting orange/gold stuff not purple. Guess its better that way though. Just not going to save so I dont get too spoiled on super good guns.
I think though I will go to that cheat engine forum to ask if anyone there could help me with the bank inventory thing.

And when u do it does it transfer over into an online game?
How do u do god mode and stuff like that?
No, Most values show as “??” if you’re in an online game, and the ones that are editable wont work anyway. and there are scripts here: Cheat Engine :: View topic - Borderlands 2
Doesn’t work at all either your version or steam version since the update. Values all show up as ?? even when your game is in offline mode. It would be great if you could update it or provide a link to a version that still works. Thanks,

Yeah, and I’ve used this on these saves before, so I’ve got a fair idea about what I’m doing. I also created a brand new save and tried it without success. Basically, the cheat engine template is not allowing you to either check the items or replace the ?? for the quantity and shows no quantity value for anything except ??. Is it still working in yours after the BL2 update?
