i have a Sony 850c that runs off android tv. I side loaded both of these apps but they are tablet/phone based so I can’t select any movies with my remote, I would have to touch them and unfortunately this tv isn’t touch screen haha 
Anyone know of a way around this or an app I can download for my tv that I can stream movies on?
I don’t know a whole lot about smart TV’s, but Roku is pretty cool. Little HDMI thing with wifi and has netflix, hulu, etc.
I’m looking to stream things like popcorn time. My tv already has Netflix, Hulu, ect but they are limited on shows, unlike popcornte and show box which is just like prime wire for movies and TV
Nit sure if you will get this since it’s an old post but all you be to do is hook up a mouse within the Bluetooth settings. I use a handheld mouse and keyboard in one. A mouse with scroll would be great, I’d think a USB one would work without much fuss but I know my Bluetooth mouse works perfectly on my combo keyboard mouse from Amazon.
I also have kodi loaded up too. Love these things about the sony!
