Problems installing

So i was trying to install horizon because the cracked version i had couldnt read the usb. Here is the log file

From where did you download/install Horizon ? Which cracked version are you referring to ? Only download Horizon from WEMOD’s official webpage, which is this:

Anyways, it also looks like .NET Framework 3.5 isn’t properly installed, and/or configured on your system as well, or, you might have a corrupt downloaded “Horizon” file.

If need be, grab and install .NET from Microsoft’s site:

Fully reinstall Horizon from scratch, and temporarily disable any AntiVirus software, as well as Firewall on your system.

Try to restart Horizon, and run it as an Administrator/ADMIN. The Windows Installer package/file might also be corrupt in some cases.

I deleted my cracked version but it still won’t install and i reinstalled .NET Framework 3.5

In the meantime, kindly disable and turn off NORTON 360 protection on your system. I will copy/paste my previous reply, which I posted under a similar thread, just for the time being.

This seems to be an OS issue, and/or it could also be related to Cached Installer problem in some cases.

If Windows cannot properly load the Setup.msi file, then either the flle is corrupt/missing, and/or is infected with a Virus or malware (in some cases).

Corrupt Windows registry keys can also sometimes attribute to this kind of error. If the Windows Installer engine is corrupt, disabled, or installed incorrectly, this may cause any program installation issues.

An MSI is a Windows Installer database.

Windows Installer (which is a service installed with Windows OS), uses this to install software on your system (e.g. copy some files, set registry values, among other things).

First of all, try to fully reinstall Horizon from scratch, and temporarily disable any Antivirus software, as well as Firewall on your system.

Try to restart Horizon, and run it as an Administrator/ADMIN. The Windows Installer package/file might be corrupt in some cases.

Make sure .NET Framework is also properly installed, and/or configured on your system as well, and you don’t have any corrupt downloaded “Horizon” file.

If need be, grab and install/update .NET and VC++ redist packages from Microsoft’s site.

Make sure that the Windows Installer service is also not set to Disabled.

This can be checked by typing services.msc in the Search box, or just click Run then type services.msc in the dialog box.

The error and screenshot gives a hint that, the Windows Installer Service might be having a DCOM permission level problem, or a registry.

Kindly try to re-download and install HORIZON from scratch. Make sure to run HORIZON as an ADMIN/Administrator. On a side note, give this link a read, if need be.
