Try adding exclusions for the following folders in your Antivirus:
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
If it doesn’t work, find and remove any WeMod-related components from your PC. Also, delete WeMod from the AppData directory and Squirrel from the temp folder. Then, restart your PC and reinstall.
Download and install the WeMod app: https://api.wemod.com/client/download
I’m having the same issue and it still doesn’t work

Are you on a laptop and do you see the loading screen or is it just black instantly?
Could you try closing WeMod then Press Win + R, paste the following, and press Enter
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeMod\WeMod.exe --disable-gpu
Please let me know if this fixes it.
For friends experiencing black screen problems, this code fixes the error. fixed my black screen error
Thank you very much, WeMod works again. Dude, you are awesome. Please tell me what was the mistake?
This should be fixed now and you should not longer need to use the run command. If you continue having issues please reinstall WeMod.
It works, thanks a lot @Chris for the solution
It works but can you explain why the error?
This didn’t work for me but alternatively did the following, which helped me. Had some corrupted Windows files that also corrupted WeMod files. I ran the two following in command prompt as admin which fixed issues:
sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Had to reinstall WeMod afterwards, but this fixed it for me, in case anyone else runs into it.
