I just started downloading save sets. I know that you have to change all ID’s from the gamesave to yours, but I have no idea what I’m doing.
Is there a way to enter this once in Horizon, save it, and auto change it to my ID’s for every gamesave I open up in Horizon (savevault style), or do I have to copy/paste for every gamesave I use?
So many questions… My first attempt didn’t go so well. I opened up a Dark Souls gamesave, changed all the ID’s, rehashed/resigned. And then… I injected the gamesave with my ID’s and everything went fine until I launched up Dark Souls! “Failed to load SAVE DATA”. <-- Corrupt?
Am I doing something wrong? Someone, please help me… lol
Just keep a copy of your profile on your flash drive, and drag & drop the downloaded save that you have on your desktop or wherever to the Profiles folder in Hiorizon’s device explorer, and you can then pick what profile you want to sign that save to.
Good question. I highly doubt that they can, I think we’d know if they could. I can’t recall ever hearing someone claim they were banned or reset in some way, or even warned for using a save they signed to their profile. I’ve used many downloaded saves over the past couple of years without any issues other than the occasional corruption or something to do with a TU not letting the save load. Once that save is signed to it’s new profile the new ID’s are it’s only ID’s.
All you need to do is keep your profile or a copy of it on your flash drive. Any downloaded save can simply be added to your games folder by dragging & dropping it onto the profiles folder, you then select your profile and it automatically changes the ID’s to your profiles ID’s and places it in your games folder. This is the easiest, and fastest way to do what I believe you’re trying to achieve.
