Do the mods not work for a CD installed game even if I have it connected in Steam?
I am trying to mod the 2005 version not the remake. I also have other games moded by Wemod and they work fine.
Every time I turn on the mod it shuts off after a couple seconds. I already tried the mentioned points for virus protection and waiting to play wemod after opening the game.
Anything else I can try?
@STN Hey, I was wondering if there’s any chance you’ll ever update your mod for Resident Evil 4 (2005) on Steam. As of right now, none of these mods work at all. I went through and thoroughly tested everything, and nothing is working.
Is there any way you could do a quick, simple patch to get these mods working again since the game has been updated since your last mod update? Or have you completely abandoned this mod due to the game’s age?
Hopefully, we’ll see an update for this mod. Keep up the great work!

Are you using any other mods with the game? Also have you tried to verify your game files on steam?
Oh, well that’s a bomber. Well, it still doesn’t work even knowing I did all the steps that you just provided. I think the mods are just completely out of date and broken.

we need new feature godmode/ignore hit, and unlimited throwble/items
because infinite ammo wont give infinite grenades,flashbang or any throwble, infinite health wont give any chance to survive if you get hit by chainsaw

I’ve noticed that it keeps crashing at 2 diff parts to the krauser fight. The first one is when you pick up the second piece you need for the door and the second crash is when you try to put all 3 in the door.
The game invariably crashes shortly after activating the cheats… maybe the game got updated recently? Or is the cheats somehow incompatible with the Special costume mode?
I found this out quite recently. No matter what I do or try, the game will crash a few seconds after the cheats activate - and specifically, the trainer itself. No cheats in themselves are active upon activation of the trainer.
POSSIBLY SOLVED: I started the game from the trainer instead of launching it through Steam as normal. Just keep this in mind people - use WeMod to start the game. It still runs through Steam as normal, but activating the cheats AFTER starting the game will result in a crash, at least for me.
Did what DrThorn recommended and I got the trainer to work. Seems like most of the crashing I experienced was the game ■■■■■■■■ itself from alt tabbing and not the trainer breaking something.
