Not sure if this has been brought up yet or asked because I havent scrolled through the responses. But a couple things
-Freeze Game Time can have an adverse effect that sets your game time to 999 hours 999 minutes 999 seconds (which is hilarious btw)
-Is there a plan to have a “Reset Game Time” at all in a coming update?
Also thank you for the hard work on this, you did a damn great job 
I believe it is because of the RE net stuff where people post their records and logs. However this is one of the reasons for each game I push the “do not consent” at the start because I dont want to have my records public because 1: im not competing against anyone and 2: knowing this it would create an unfair precedent with those who do log their runs.
I could be wrong but I think this is the actual case as to why.
Hi,
Once I copy and paste dinput8.dll into the game file and lunch it from steam, the game crashes on the main screen. I didn’t even activate the trainer from WeMod.
I tried online and offline steam, copy and paste all the files you guys provided into the game file, and only the dinput8.dll in the game file, but none of them worked. Is there any way to solve this?
Well I bit the ball and installed the folder and followed the instructions no problems so far but I have a very overpowered rig (7950x, 64GB RAM, 4090) and my boot drive is a PCI 4.0 NVME SSD and I have the game on my boot drive and so far no crashes and the cheats work fine.
I’ve tried everything mentioned above but nothing worked. The game crashes every time. Help….

Mine is not powerful as yours but it worked on the rest of my games even on the chainsaw demo. Don’t know what happened with RE4
That’s unfortunate, it seems stability varies from PC to PC, but my rig never crashed and everything works.
Did everything you directed, placed the dinput in the exact right spot, waited till menu till activate WEMOD and instant crash. Same thing after deleting files , hard crash and lock up of the game.
What’s your video card and processor. 4090 works solid.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor (Works fine without the Bypass for the WEMOD)

So apparently Freeze Play Time only works when you hit escape, but when you are saving the file, it’ll still give you how many hours you’ve played throughout the game.
Can someone confirm if the speed run achievement still counts with this freeze play time on?
I would like to start by giving a big thanks to everyone who helped mod RE4R everything works perfectly, except game time freeze. It works at first then it glitches or something and give me 999:99 time. Just wanted to let you guys know that the mod doesn’t work properly but everything else is golden for me. I’ve got a new problem and this scares the sh*t out of me, all my savegames are deleted automatically if I use the trainer … happens sometime, the game starts and says, there was something wrong while loading and all setups and savegames are gone, for always. No helping by verifying and the writing permission is also state on. I’ve no glue whats wrong with it.
Your savegames are stored at [Steam-folder]\userdata[user-id]\2050650\remote\win64_save\
Try to backup the data, start the game and copy the files back.
Does anyone has any alternative solutions….
