hmm when you say that it sounds to me this is more a issue with denuvo maybe and low end pc’s with the bare minimum to run at a solid smooth fps. sadly i didnt ry to the offline mode i just tried plugging out my network cable still kept crashing for me. could be denuova it could be windows 10 it could be nvidia graphics or it could be some messy coding i wish i knew witch d8input im using but im not changing it anymore since i got it to woking jsut deleting a cpl files. then again those files might be corrupted for some possibilieties u never know and deleting them then reload the files non corrupted by starting game again. all i can say its either a software or hardware issue coming form the 8dinput.dll.

Yes. Followed the exact instructions but crashed.
It keeps crashing… it worked for a while then it randomly started crashing. Doesn’t even matter if I start the game directly from steam then launching wemod or starting the game directly from wemod, I don’t even activate any cheat I just press play and then it just crashes when I try to shoot or something like that

Does the DRM in the RE4 Remake have anything to do with the D3D crashing and REFramework? Like this game just doesn’t like having that dinput8 file in there at all.
So this stopped working for more folks than just me.
Was playing yesterday and all morning wich cheats all was fine. Took a break for 2 hours… come back and it crashes when I activate wemod.
What gives?

Might just be buggy then. I played through chapters 1,2,3 there with unlimited health, ammo, and a couple others enabled and it hasnt crashed for me yet. Ill play some more later and report back if it crashes.
Okay, so i was having issues crashing every time i activated cheats, it stopped crashing when i let the framework menu open until im completely loaded in the game and the cheats are activated. I closed it after i started playing and it didn’t crash anymore. 
Yesterday I played normally, but today the game is closing all the time.

I notice that praydog is updating REFramework on Github but I’m not sure if the updated .dll file will fix the crashing.
BUG with trainer: Sometimes freezing playtime will cause it to have a maximum playtime that should be impossible on a single run where the time says, at random, 999:59:59 upon loading a save, or playing the game with freeze playtime active for extensive peroids.

Sounds about right, So far I’ve played 5 hours and still no crash and cheats work like a charm. My belief is if you have a top of the line GPU and CPU you won’t have bugs, but mid range to lower end CPU GPU configs seem to be buggy that’s my guess. And it seems there might be problems with putting it on an external drive as well, I use my C drive which is a M.2 NVME PCI 4.0 ssd. But then again who knows.
It seems like crafting bolts is causing the game to crash. Careful guys.
Any chance to add infinite health for ashley and also the boat, mining cart and jet ski, please?
I think the best you might get for Ashley is using the unlock extra content shop items option and buying the armour for her.
