Are you sure it works? cause I just re downloaded the game and tried launching the mod while the game was launched and I even tried doing the alt plus W button as well as an alternate way of trying to make the mod to work but even that didn’t work the game just crashed again. If it worked for you, what did you end up doing to make it work? Because the game still crashes when I activate, we mod either to launch the game or after I launch the game.

And from all of the games I have played using Wemod, this is the only game that just doesn’t work completely and is the only game that crashes using this.

I don’t know, I think I’m just stupid or something. Even doing my best to try and follow this video I can’t even figure it out. I extract the file I did that a couple different times because I couldn’t figure out what to do after extracting it. And then even then couldn’t figure out where to go from there. I mean I am new to PC gaming, so this is all kind of alien to me compared to an Xbox or PlayStation 5. I don’t know maybe at some point the developers of this mod will actually fix it.

It is actually kind of funny though, Resident Evil 4 Remake is really the only game I’ve ever played that doesn’t work using this Wemod app. The second and third remake and every other Resident Evil game works perfectly with this app and yet the Resident Evil 4 remake doesn’t. It’s like Resident Evil 4 is cursed or something when trying to use it with WeMod. :joy:

Yeah, I don’t know. Even trying to follow the video, it doesn’t really seem to matter what I do. The mods just don’t work with the game for some reason. What’s weird is that this is the only game that mods don’t work for me. Every other game I have played using this app, The mods always work. And if for some reason a mod didn’t work in the near future or something the developers would always be quick to respond to a comment or a post and fix the problem and then the mod would work again. It just seems that with this game, The developers of this mod don’t respond to posts too often or doesn’t do a whole lot to try and fix it. I mean I guess it’s not the worst thing, just a little bit frustrating. Especially since this is like one of the best games.

“Adjust time” doesn’t work. No matter how much I try to find the time I want I just can’t. The lowest time I could find is 15 hours, if I decrease it further - I get 999:99:99 and everything breaks.

Not to mention the game breaks in of its own when you even launch Wemod. None of the mods work for as soon as I activate it the game crashes It doesn’t matter whether started with the mods or I start the game without the mods and then start the mods after the game is launched. It just seems to crash anyway. Is there a way you found to at least be able to play some of the mods?

It’s kind of irritating that nothing works, is it not possible for the developers of this mod to the mods to work in some way? I don’t know i’ve already got the Platinum Trophy on my Playstation, But I thought that I would play it for the first time on PC and play through it all over again but this time with mods and all of the other Resident Evil games just to get ready for Resident Evil 9. I’ve honestly been trying to get the Resident Evil 4 remake to work with the mods for months now. Nothing works and I don’t know if the developers are even working on the mods to get them fixed anymore.

You don’t, it could not ever be set up probably. The moment you try, the instant the video game crashes no matter how many different ways you try to run the mods. Trust me, I and a bunch of other people have tried to get these mods to work on this Wemod app for a while and it hasn’t worked at all. I think I’ve been trying for close to 5 months now. I have finally just given up with occasional checking in on the comments section to see if the developers have fixed it at all. Truth is it’s probably not ever going to get fixed to the point where it’s usable.

Is this thing fixed or what?
I got the RE Remake bundle and this is the ONLY one that crashes when I attempt to active ANY mod on here.

For everyone who has a problem getting this to work, go to RE4.exe, right-click, and go to properties. On the compatibility tab, check mark the box that says “run this program as an Administrator”. Do the same for Wand.exe, and it should work.

yeah the game still doesn’t work, I actually thought it might work this time but it doesn’t. Game still almost immediately crashes no matter what I do.
