Make sure you guys load up the mods once you are in the main menu of the game. All is working on my end. I downloaded the file and moved it to the installation folder and then booted up the game and loaded mods after loading into the menu.
Everyone, mods work perfectly for me. I use knife durability, Unlimited items, pesetas multiplayer. my Bitdefender still on when downloading file bypass.
- Open wemod, read the notes, and open Forum
- Download the .dll
- Open steam, browse local file RE4 Remake
- Extract to folder the file .dll
- Copy .dll to Re 4 Remake folder
- Open RE4 from steam, and wait until main menu.
- Click play on Wemod

I did all those steps and the game crashes the moment I activate a mod. Iâve been modding for a long time so I know how to mess around in the directory files.
I canât even go into the main menu and load the mods. Getting fatal d3d error 25 when I load the game.
Instead of launching through Steam, I launched RE4 directly as an admin in the local files. Booted up the mods as instructed and Iâm playing fine as of now. Maybe this will help a few more people.

Doesnât work buddy. I tried a second ago, now it crashes the moment I hit play on wemod. Thanks for trying though.
did all, re4 in the local file forlder where the re.exe is, even try in admin mode, any action randomly crash the game, pick up an object, firing with a gun, etc⌠will wait for a more stable trainer, your effort are appreciated fling !

And also, it seems that when I start the trainer my character itâs moving in slow motion for some reason, but when I close the mod itâs moving fine, does anybody have this?
Sounds like this is problematic. I just hope we want have to wait long for a fix where you donât need to download anything or mess with the config files.

yes, it doesnât work for me too.
The trainer is stable, it is the âDinput8.dllâ with its buggy ingame overlay, this dll was took from the REFramework Project, a bypassing tool, or hooking tool. Other games which ones supportet with REFramework, has the problems too, by the way.
can anyone tell me how can i enable mouselook? With the trainer, mouselook is disabled. The mouse remains on the screen and the camera movement is not as free as without the trainer. plz help!

the whole bypass needs revamp and update, and im pretty sure denovuâs got something to do with it along the line with alot of the crashing ppl, i use nvidia graphics crashes no matter wat when iturn on we mod or move mouse. my whole computer crashed had to unplug all usb to get my pc booting up again. lmao⌠the dinput reframe needs the reworked / cracked re4remake will have no crashes at all, wich support denuvos been making the customer suffer more. and only mid to high end late 2020 pcs can run incldusing pre build store bought. mines from 2015 game runs fine gtx 950 so the dll direct3d crashed might be related to denovu even. with pcs not enough oompf. idk i hope there might be some stability fix that will repair it.

Make sure that dinput8.dll is not in the D3D12 folder, this will cause the game to crash. I made the same mistake and to fix it I moved the dinput8.dll from the D3D12 folder to the Resident Evil 4 Biohazard folder. This can be completed by opening two File Explorer and set one to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 4 BIOHAZARD RE4 and the other to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 4 BIOHAZARD RE4\D3D12, then move the dinput8.dll to the correct folder. This let me run the trainer and not have the game crash.
I have read the entire thread. Still crashes. Just having the dll in the directory causes a crash on start up. Canât even get to the menu. Running as administrator with RT off.
