REFramework is required to use the trainer:

  1. Download RE8.zip from GitHub
  2. Extract dinput8.dll to game\Content\ folder.

its crashing

it crashes, but it also stops you moving in game.

just to confirm it crashes even if you use no cheats and just “play” from wand.

launching the game - then click “play” in game ( when loaded in ) fixes the crashing and stuff. )

tried that still crashing for me

Ive tried both ways and it freezes you on spot then crashes. But if you manualy add game file under steam it works but some of the mods dont work Eg one hit kills.

The trainer causes you to not be able to move and crashes the game almost immediately.

So I’ve been trying out different ways to try get it to work.

This doesn’t crash the game

Pre select your mods, like 4 max ie god mode, 1 hit kills, infinite ammo and highlight items. Load into your game then activate wand,

Not sure if it’ll crash later on as only briefly tested it. Hopefully a fix will come soon

Mods not working. Like others stated. You cant move when you load in, and then the game crashes.

Doesn’t work on Gamepass version.

Tried the aforementioned (launching game first then activate mods), worked intially (new game start). However, it stopped working once I closed the game and llaunched a new session.

Be Sure to add the RE8 DLL file to the Exe folder, works fine since I did this.

All the cheats work fine, including the infinite ammo one, as the other guy said, make sure to download and add the file to get the framework pop up.

Thanks i now have it working. For those still stuck download the RE8.zip file and extract to new folder. Then copy extracted files to res evil village content folder in xbox games folder. Close and run game and all is fine.
