I just got done modifying my Xbox 360 controller earlier and it got me wondering. What do all of you sport for controllers? Anything cool to show off? 
Here’s what I use!
The 360 controller has been great for me… It’s only had 1 new case, 2 new bumper button, 2 new triggers, 4 new button, 1 new d-pad, and 2 thumb sticks!
I ruined too many of my light up power A controller’s trying to solder in extra lights. I suck at soldering. Not bad at painting though. Had this sexy looking controller where I used black,gold, and red in just the right fashion to give out an interesting phenomenon I couldn’t explain. I wish I still had the controller. Nothing all that special. Just a white shell with black & red parts taken off a red controller & Halo 3 edition controller.
Reminds me of what Nintendo could/should of been!
Yeah, soldering isn’t very easy. It took me awhile to make my LEDs red because the soldering iron my dad had was crap so I bought a new one and I have have shaky hands which made it worse but the new soldering iron made it so much easier and I was able to do it without screwing up any of the LEDs or losing them.
OG 360 Controller had this thing forever only ever had to change the thumbsticks.
Xbox One controller I got with the console I had to switch the thumbsticks after a year.
Here’s my Scuf when I first bought it, some of the paint has worn off now but the controller is great. A must have if you play Advanced Warfare.
And now my latest controller, I bought this spectrum shell from a website called MorbidStix the hydro dip is good but the shell isn’t official so there are quite big gaps on the side of the controller that are quite noticeable when playing.
Personally, I would say I haven’t owned anything quiet special when it comes to controllers, just your typical:
- Default Xbox 360 ELITE Controller
- MW3 Controller
- Gears of War: 3 Controller
…I’ve had multiples through the years when it comes to the default controllers, but that’s because I mainly play shooters.
About 24 black wireless 360 controllers, all with broken joysticks
