Trainers generally should not apply to the AI in the game. Itâs quite rare that trainers will affect any AI or NPC players, however when it does itâs usually because of game engine limitations beyond WeModâs control. The Civ trainers have not been reported to affect the AI.
But this doesnât mean the AI doesnât cheat. Itâs pretty well documented that the AI in most RTS games are programmed by the game developers to âcheatâ, especially in higher difficulties. For example, players have noticed in certain RTS games in higher difficulties that the enemy will build a large army to attack you faster than it can realistically collect resources to build that army. This happens whether you use a trainer or not. The AI uses built-in âcheatsâ to make the game more challenging to you and keep you on your toes, otherwise youâd probably get bored pretty quickly.
Another notable similar trend in RTS games is that in higher difficulties your AI allies are also notably dumber than the enemy AI and less helpful than they are in easier difficulties, just to force you to have to assist them to make the game more difficult.
Is the trainer still being updated? It was working for a day and not it doesnât let me activate any of the toggles (directly or through the âFâ keys). Iâve tried everything that I can think of. Help please?
Really need some option like maximum poplulations here sirâŚsome districts require a certain amount of polulations to build. A minimum of 10 populations doesnât come with much help. Maybe just set the population equal to housing? Thanks!
Hey Iâm using this trainer and it works fine for me. But it can be a little finicky. One of the things I recommend as a fan of MrAntiFunâs work is to start the trainer. Then load your game you wish to use it on. Click on a few things like click on a unit, a city, then a blank tile or something like that. THEN start activating the options you want to use. I generally do this for all of his trainers int he 4x genre even stuff like Total War. Itâs always helped me avoid headaches. Make sure you turn off every option in the trainer before you reload a save too. I know Iâve personally forgotten to do this if Iâm using a lot of quick save and quick load (like I do in Total War). Sometimes things work just fine but Iâve noticed I can run into problems if I forget to do this.
Thereâs been a few times where all of a sudden for no reason at all the trainer options will stop working. Like iâll go ten turns with fast construction on and then on turn 11 the trainer option is still set to âonâ but iâm no longer getting the benefits of âFast constructionâ. I just turned it off and back on again in the trainer and it worked fine the small number of times its happened but itâs rare. Iâd say Iâm about 20 hours into this save with this trainer going itâs happened like twice. I suspect this is more on how the game loads things and not a trainer issue. Either way its easily resolved.
Canât use unlimited movements and God mode. It kind ofâŚautomatically shut itself off after my attempt to activate it. It worked fine for me until the pirate thing update on Oct 22. Help please (:Сăâ )
Btw do I need to pay some money so Mr.Antifun can update it?
Thanks!
