You can’t play the game offline which is the problem.
if you aren’t online, then you can’t get past the main menu which means there is no way around the check.
I tried loading the modded save on another profile that hadn’t played the game yet, but no luck.
Oh well looks like I aint playing the game, not spending money on the game everything is so expensive.
Stats/Silver/Gold are stored server-side.
Basically the whole save that you have in your HDD may as well not be there, no reason for it to be.
There is no save on my HDD nor my friends, I have no clue why some people have saves, seem pretty pointless.

Found out why there are local saves for this game, it seems that the game was going to have local versus and offline multiplayer, but seems like it was scrapped at the last minute.

Bloody hell wished they never, bit stupid having a fighting game with no local multiplayer.

I can choose to stay on this forum because it has a PC section. And I can still offer help in the Xbox section. So get your ego in check and then reply. Not to brag but I’ve done far more for this community then you have. Yeah I call people out but its only me telling people the truth. I don’t own an Xbox anymore because I don’t have the time to play really. So why waste my money? I’m 20 years old I have better things to do with my cash then sit and play Xbox. When you’re older have bills to pay you should understand. Thanks.
@OP, some things may be server side, but I’d still try modding other things if you can find the values in the gamesave. You never know what might work.
It IS moddable
My other account TMG Sebastian is being reworked as I cant post on it but anyways. First things first this game IS moddable but not like you want it to be. The save game is actually needed becuase it stores your game settings and thats were the devs messed up. I have been working on this for a while dissecting the contents and experimenting. You know the kills stat when you go online? During the loading screen? Well that stat is in the gamesave believe it or not, im working to find other items within it. But I found this out when experimenting with deleting the save and backing it up and moving it on and off of the hardrive performing different variables and such. But the kills stat is in the gamesave yet to be found, so dont give up yet guys,help me find this!
As for the silver and gold and such, that is not moddable, that IS strictly server based.
I need to restore my kills stat after my save corrupted 4 times lol but here is the find guys enjoy.
If anyone would like to help me or even create a editor I would appreciate it but please credit me with the findings 
. I would really enjoy to restore my kills stat .
I will post more findings when I get my other account back.

If you guys need clarifying the left is the wins the middle is the kills and the right is the total fights. Read from left to right (boxes)
So are you able to mod it without corrupting your save?
Nice investigating bro but i just dont see the benefit in being able to edit stats
Reason it could be corrupting may be to do with the battles like for example the full story you have 99 battles and your editing the stats to more than 99 just my thoughts

what about the stats of the fighter? could that be edited?
