I haven’t found anything for SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake on WeMod, and I also can’t see where to vote for the game. That’s why I’m creating a post about it. It would be great if the game gets supported.
Mods are developed based on the popularity of the game! So, if enough players also play the game
Yes, there used to be a voting function for which the boosts were intended. These were partly free back then and were given exclusively to Pro users, which was totally fine. Now the function is available for free users again, but the vote button no longer exists. As a result, the popularity of individual games is no longer measurable at all.
For example, many people voted for BeamNG.Drive in the past, even though it was an Early Access game that was entirely a sandbox. It got unnecessarily many votes, and now the game is on the Not Supported list. Many users don’t even use the forum, which means games don’t get the attention they deserve. I’ve been around for a long time and remember the old days when it worked the way you described, but that’s no longer the case today.
I understand that the developers have a lot on their plate. However, the game (SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake) hasn’t been mentioned even once. At the same time, there are other platforms with worse reputations. While they may offer mod support, you can be 100% sure that it’s either full of viruses or costs more than WeMod Pro Lifetime. Do you see what I mean?
Now there’s the first post about this game. Let’s see what happens.
No, the games are still measured and used to decide whether mods are worthwhile!
If you go to the bottom of the mod window for a game in WeMod, you can see how many users are playing it! I think it’s measured based on this number…
Hey, I’ve been around for a long time and can show you with a screenshot that you only know part of the app and haven’t really delved into it. Here, you can see a game that’s in the database but has no forum or anything else listed – and on the other hand, an example that shows the opposite. Do you see the difference?
I’m not claiming to know better and don’t want to start an argument; I just want to present this transparently. I’m taking the first step to show that this is something people want. Thank you for your sincere and respectful attitude – nice guy!
Hello! I hope you’re well today!
Thank you for taking the time to reach out and to suggest a trainer. However, we do not take trainer requests in the forum.
How It Works
Trainers are made or updated based on the game’s current popularity amongst WeMod as a whole:
- How many people at WeMod own the game per platform.
- How many people at WeMod are following the game on WeMod.
This is a democratic system that ensures WeMod is spending its resources on the games people want the most.
Showing Your Interest
To help show your interest in having a trainer for a particular game:
- Search for the game in the library via WeMod desktop software.
- Click the “Notify Me” button on the game’s page.
Can’t find a game in the WeMod library yet?
Perhaps it’s too new? Games are added to the library automatically when WeMod detects that enough WeMod members own the game. This makes sure our library isn’t spammed with abandoned junk games or asset flip scams. Check back later!
