The Xbox App (PC Version via Game Pass or Premium purchase) cannot be game shared like the Console. If you play on Series X, you can gameshare with someone else who has an Xbox Console and they can play Starfield if you have the Premium edition which includes the Early Access. Otherwise you and them will have to wait for launch on the 6th.
If you want to go a cheaper route, just purchase the Premium edition upgrade, it’s around 30 bucks USD, and since the game is “free” on Game Pass, you’ll have access to early access right now. This is tied to your Xbox Account so it works for both Console (which can be game shared) and if you log into another PC to play it via the Xbox App.
I have game share and the other person has the premium edition. When I open wemod on my laptop, I do not see it listed and wemod asks me to install the game. I don’t know if I am doing the steps in order.
WeMod does not work for Console, only for PC. The “Xbox” version for WeMod is for the Xbox PC App which links to your Xbox Account for Play Anywhere and paid titles that can be played on both Console and on PC via the App. Since your friend Game Shares with you, you cannot install the PC version, you can only install the console version as only the Console version allows for game sharing via setting up a “Home Console”.
I’m having no issues playing the game right now on PC via the Xbox App with WeMod enabled. Make sure you are on the correct version of the game for WeMod (Make sure Xbox is selected not Steam), make sure you open the game up first on your PC, then at the main title screen hit “Play”, after a few seconds it should be working and you can begin enabling the cheats once you load your save file.
im pretty sure the trainer causes the game to freeze, while running it make game somehow always ends up freezing and crashing
lmao the thing is so easy and you want it to be even easier? do this instead press ~ while in game click on the locked door or whatever then the id would pop up then type unlock and thats it. note it doesnt always open for all the locks not sure why.
I’ve notice that for some of the mods idk which one but, you’ll randomly get a bounty out when you haven’t even killed anyone. idk if this is a bug in the game or because of the mods.
Not sure if you’re having the same issue I had, but Wemod was only showing the first release. Couldn’t add it to the steam version because Microsoft locks its permissions. I went to history in Wemod right under the play button. Clicked the most recent update and all of a sudden, my menu options changed to all the new features and the remote app updated as well. I went into the game and have been testing and so far, everything I’ve tried like ship health is working perfectly. I’m using the Xbox version of the game through gamepass. Hopefully that’ll do it for you!
Anyone else get this where their game runs fine then when you open any kind of menu all of a sudden it tanks the fps? And solutions if there are any plz and thx?
I’m not sure when but its reading every save I have as modded since the last update, Im not sure which mod is causing is. I even started a new character mod menu not enabled and just saved it says modded on the load menu. kinda just lost now
Is there any ‘read before me’ to load these mods? I’m trying to load the game via WeMod and it’s not doing anything. I also tried to load the mods while running from the game on the Xbox App but still not loading.
