just upgraded to diamond (only 1 month upgrade as i was having issures on my win 7 puter, so wanted to be sure it is working b4 i spring for the entire year again.

k, that fixed issue the first problem
but now for the same one i had previously, my fix was to install horizon on my win 8.1 puter, which is no longer available to me
i open the profile unlock a couple of achievements but when i go to save it gives me the following message:
An error has occured while writing back to the loaded package!
If you see a developer, the following message will help him resolve the issue… Object Already Exists
here’s some additional info (and the way i always have used horizon for the past 3 years
i keep my profile on a memory module, i open the memory module with xploder than copy the profile to my puter. i open my profile with horizon do my updates than i copy it back to the memory module and put it back into my xbox… it was a few months back when this would no longer save by clicking the Red Save button on the top line of the Achievement Unlocker. so what i did was copy the profile from my memory module to my dropbox, than would open it on my win 8.1 system do the changes there, than save and copy it back to dropbox, and from there back to my memory module and back to my xbox.

Your additional info is kind of confusing, but try using the Device Explorer in Horizon instead of the third party program. Once you have moved your profile to your USB, plug it into your PC, open Horizon, then go to the Device Explorer:
Go to ‘Gamer Profiles’, select your profile, then mod your achievements from there.
Once done modding, just click save. Hopefully that solves your remaining issues. If it doesn’t post back please.
did as you suggested and with the usb module in i got the same message when i tried to save the changes
p.s. and when i put the profile back into my xbox it was corrupt so i’ll need to d/l it again
p.s.s. the xploder is not a program but a device which plugs into one of my usb ports on the pc. the memory module which i mentioned is the microsoft ones which plug into either port a or b of the original xboxes. the newer versions of the xbox do not have ports for these modules. they come in 256 and 512mb modules and are very convient for keeping diff game saves, profiles etc and make it very easy to mod w/o having to worry about corrupting a game save etc. i just drag the profiles and or game saves from this module and move it back and forth to my desk top for mods etc
i just looked at my installed programs in win7 and noticed that it has net framework 4 multi-targeting pack and net framework 4.5.1 as the only ones installed on this puter. does it also need 3.5?. if so not sure how to add, it appears that it was one of the normal win updates

tks, getting closer, it’s trying to install net 3.5 now, but i’m getting a Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 Setup box pop up saying the following
You must use “Turn Windows features on or off” in the Control Panel to install or configure Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5
my only option is to hit OK in the box, i’m not sure what else it’s asking me to do
i did find an option in the control panel to Turn Windows features on or off but i’m not sure which features i need to either check or uncheck. they do have 3 boxes for Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5.1, two others are listed below it called
Windows Communication Foundation HTTP Activation and Windows Communication Foundation Non-HTTP Activation
i tried checking all three and said ok but it said that some of them were not activated and the install failed

That error has nothing to do with .net framework. .Net 3.5 comes with Windows 7 pre-installed too, I assume that’s what you are using since you aren’t using Windows 8/8.1.
Plus, using a USB is easier than having to transfer all this content to your desktop, to dropbox, then back, etc., when with a USB you just need to move the save/profile from your Xbox to the USB itself.
i did all of that but i still can save the file, same error message as with the memory module. i dont have net.framework 3.5 on this puter any longer, it appears that it was removed during one of the updates back in feb of this year. i’m trying to install it now w/o much success. i believe that if i do it might start working again
Open C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework and check if you have a folder named “3.5” there.
ok, i see a Framework64 forder under the microsoft.net folder and under that it has a v3.5 folder with a bunch of files and various folders, but framework 3.5.1 does not show as a program in the control pannel

i believe that i’ve been going about this process the wrong way, so what i did was do a system restore back to dec 23 b4 i started to make all of the changes to framework etc
what i now believe is that my system was updated to framework 4.5 back around feb of this year, and is about the time that i believe that horizon stopped working on my system 7 puter, but i believe that framework 3.5 is still installed on this computer (based on Zzs question to me in an earlier post)
so my question is now.
how do i go about telling my system to used net.framework 3.5 vs 4.5?
