Can you try to link the game’s exe manually? Click the down arrow on the Play button to see the option to add it.

While going through your latest recommendation, I accidentally stumbled upon this option to change the mod version. I had the 2021 selected in my case (not sure if that’s the default).
After selecting the latest one, it’s working as intended.

If you activate all the trainer options, you simply close the game. especially in fight!
