Take my Money for Wand on Linux!

Dear team, i want to start by thanking you for the creation of Wemod/Wand, i love your product because of 2 reasons:

  1. Single unified library with voting for upcoming mods

  2. Safety (so far) from any trojan, ransomware, malware and etc which come with traines and other products from some competitors.

Yes i have read the other topics opened for this subject on having Wemod / Wand on Linux, but i wanted to add more endorsements to this subject that i have not read yet.

  3. Windows has become disgusting garbage, FORCING its apps and content into the operating system, NOT giving any kind of control to the owner. Even if i uninstall Teams, Xbox, onedrive, phone and 50+ GB of these garbage apps, Microsoft force installs them back. Windows PC users do not get control of the operating system except by pulling the network cable out.

  4. Then there is the discontinuation of local users and forced Microsoft Accounts, which in turn forces even more Microsoft garbage into your system.

  5. Then there is the alarming security risk, of ransomware and risk like hackers being able to use a simple printer spool driver to gain access to the OS.

The point is: People are renouncing Windows at a never before seen alarming rate. Never until recent yeas have more people moved from Windows to Linux, and this number increases monthly and yearly.

AT THIS moment (and i have read multiple reddit posts on this exact topic, one even here on this forum), THE ONLY reason my gaming rig is Windows is because of Wemod / Wand.

If Wand would of worked on Linux, I would of been Windows free. When your gaming time is little and precious (because life) you want mod apps like Wand to make your little gaming time more enjoyable and really escape from the world into the game.

So please, take my money, i am sure i am not the only one who doesn’t care if the Linux version is 100% premium and only via subscription, i would gladly take it, just to get rid of the garbage that is Windows. I will be switching to Ubuntu or Bazzite anyway, but i will not be able to use Wand any more.

Thank you for the work you do and for this great product, it makes my games pleasant to play.

Same. I migrated from Windows to Linux and the transfer has been very smooth, but having Wand as a native Linux binary would be great!

Same! I’ve tried some workarounds but haven’t been able to get it working. With Linux swiftly becoming more popular for PC gaming, it would make sense to port Wand to Linux

I’m in! If it’s not usable in Linux I’ll cancel my subscription again. It’s no use to me anymore.

we need a Linux port for bazzite cause i moved to that OS and i really really like this program when i was on windows and given that windows is going down hill what better time for wand to come to Linux so if they can make a native Linux port that would be great cause this program is god teir and the work they put in to this program to give the gamers the help they need if someone can make a Linux port of wand they will be gods to Linux gaming community

Game Conqueror is a native linux cheat tool, it supports import and export of files like cheat tables. I would suggest the Weemod/Wand team, have a look at it. As it stands, it is very basic; however as far as i know it works on most versions of Linux. A good starting point for learning how to make wemod/wand work on linux.

I’m already on Bazzite. I’m still paying for Wand because I’m hoping for someone to find a way to get it working either through proton, or if Wand themselves releases their app as an appimage. Even if that appimage just installs a Proton version of the app. It would be even better if they could list their app on steam in the Software section, that way linux users could simply download and install it that way. All of my steam games are still running in their windows folders, just under a Compatibility layer for Linux called Proton/Wine.
