I just recently had to reinstall the app due to an issue with my previous version (accidently forced closed during an update and then it would no longer open). The most recent application keeps flickering every few seconds and i’m unsure why (it goes completely black and then returns).
Hi there. Thanks for letting us know! It could also be graphics card settings. If you know how to use the command line, try launching WeMod.exe using WeMod.exe --disable-gpu
Press Win + R then copy and paste this and press enter
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeMod\wemod.exe --disable-gpu
After adding this command, the interface will indeed not flicker.
However, it will cause the entire program to go black and become inoperable.
Gotcha. Try these steps as we need to force close the WeMod App.
- Close WeMod and launch task manager.
- If you haven’t already, expand the task manager window by clicking
More Details - Scroll down to the heading labelled
Background Processes - Search for all instances of WeMod under this Background Procecesses header. Right-click them and choose
End Task - When WeMod is no longer shown, close task manager and re-launch WeMod again.
If that doesn’t work, you might need to uninstall the WeMod App via Control Panel and install it by using this link : [https://api.wemod.com/client/download ]
It doesn’t work, reinstalled several times.

If I don’t add the command, APP will flicker.
Just to confirm, may I know what windows version are you currently using?
Windows 11 Pro (23H2), APP just update to 9.0.3 have those issue.
May I know if you have AV software installed? Your antivirus software may be interfering with WeMod. Try whitelisting or adding any exception for these two folders: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod and C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
I already add two folders, but it’s not work.(still have flicker or black screen)
When I set app language to English, the screen work normal.
(It still need to add command -disable-gpu)
I also try to del two folders and reinstall app, they aren’t work either.
Could you let us know what graphics card you are using, the driver version number, your system language setting, and the app language setting?
The first 2 can be obtained by opening cmd then running nvidia-smi and then you can just screenshot this section at the top and post it here

I just reinstalled WeMod app because the fonts are blurry since the last update. So after reinstalling WeMod app, not only are the fonts still blurry but I now have the same issue as the OP which is the WeMod app keeps flickering.

Hello ! i just installed wemod and all fonts are blurry , +flicking and goes dark all that happens continually and stimuntiusly , is there any fix yet?

I use an Nvidia 4080 super i noticed that the application was flickering horrendously. The command fixed my problem until i would shut the computer down after using it. Once the computer was back up and running the launching of the app showed the same issue. I fixed this issue for myself by using the Nvidia control panel. In the 3D settings tab in the control panel i located the We Mod application in the programs settings tab that you will find on the right and within i used the drop down next to CUDA-GPUs where the global setting was using my 4080 super. select the CUDA-GPUs tab and select “Use these GPUs” if like mine the only one under that tab is your deticated GPU for example my 4080super then you will not select anything. the bar next to CUDA-GPUs should now say “None” apply the setting and check the app. hopefully this works for you.
Thanks for this. I had the same issue and this solution resolved it for me. I also did have to exit Wemod entirely and restart it after making the change (just additional info for anyone else who comes here after searching for a resolution).
