Any solution for the error in chapter 7 or the trainer is forgotten?

The solution is in one of the last posts in this thread:

The developer of this trainer, as it says next to his username in his posts, is retired from WeMod. Therefore this specific trainer will not be updated (unless the game receives an update and the trainer gets a lot of votes for an update too).

Hello,
I am playing this game and noticed that on chapter 6 “we’re losing our grip” the game will freeze up as I’m trying to cross the plank walkway the guy puts down for me to get over to him. It’s after I shoot the guys taking him to the guillotine. I don’t think it is the cheats though for I tried without them and it STILL freezes up. I have to ctrl +alt+delete and close the game down. I checked the integrity of files on Steam. Cant progress beyond that point. Any ideas? Thanks.

I’m using the trainer for The Evil Within but I don’t see the difference. I’m getting slaughtered and can’t even use melee to defend myself. The bad guy with the chainsaw just steps up to me and cuts me in a million pieces. Am I doing something wrong or is my trainer simply not working. I definitely don’t have unlimited health!

I have decided, after testing well, that the trainer is doing absolutely nothing! I get the same effect with or without the trainer. NOTHING! This is the first time Wemod has failed me completely!

Not to be that guy, but this game has console commands for everything, a trainer is not really needed. Just google it.

Onto the discussion at hand - Here’s an informative quote from elsewhere in the community:

Using built-in cheats will disable the ability to earn achievements in games. Trainers do not cause this.

Built-in cheats usually require you having to remember them (and ultimately having to pause the game to look them up again when you can’t remember them), whereas trainers are “fire and forget”.

Entering cheat or console commands regularly breaks the immersion of the game for many gamers. Whereas trainers do not because, again they are “fire and forget”.

In the case of console commands in particular, they can cause game-breaking, progression-breaking, or quest-breaking bugs in some cases. Consoles are left-over developer testing tools for when the game was still in beta, they are not intended as a cheating tool, the developers just never bothered removing it from the live public release. Many developers, such as Bethesda, do warn you against using console commands for these reasons and say you do so at your own risk and at the risk of corrupting your own game files.

It’s each gamer’s personal and freedom of choice whether to use built-in cheats or not. Most choose not to for the reasons above.

Trainers are democratically updated based on popularity and interest within the community as a whole, not because of the number of posts or requests in its forum thread. See the quoted post below for further information on this.

How many WeMod members have the game installed. The WeMod software detects this automatically.

How many WeMod members are following or have it added as a favourite.
To follow the game, click “Notify Me” on the game’s page in the WeMod software.
To favourite a game, click the star icon next to the trainer’s name in the WeMod software.

The number of boosts put into the game by Pro members to boost it further up the development queue when it appears there due to being determined as popular via the previous points.

The game’s last update appears to be December 2014, and the trainer’s last update was in April 2021, which appears to have been to add more cheats as suggested by the community. This particular game was released a few years ago now, in 2014, and wasn’t classed as a AAA game. This would mean interest isn’t really as high nowadays as some current newer or AAA games are. WeMod needs to respect the democratic choices of the whole community by focusing on what they want the most. But I’ll remind the WeMod testing team about this game, just in case there’s an issue elsewhere.
