The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Cheats and Trainer for Steam

Hi
Iā€™ve been trying to launch The Witcher 3 and play it with WeMod cheats. However, when I try to toggle them with hotkeys, they turn themselves back off (with the exception of the EasyGwent, EasyCrafting and AddExp cheats).
Iā€™ve whitelisted WeMod folders in my adblock. Iā€™ve launched the game from app, and from Steam, restarted my computer and reinstalled the app.
Is it because of the new update?
Please help

I just tried it out on the Steam version, dx12, with patch 4.03 (May 11th) applied, and the mods seem to work fine. I didnā€™t test every single one, but Health, Stam, Money, Skill Points, and Teleport all work fine. I wouldnā€™t think you have a connection issue since some of your mods are working. Are you sure youā€™re running v 4.03? Running in 64bit?

I am still having inventory issues and quest item issues when I have the mods turned on

I ran it with dx11, on the newest patch. My os is in 64, so i understand it should run the game in 64 on itā€™s own? Iā€™m not super tech literate though, so maybe thatā€™s not the case

Iā€™m not sure if dx11 vs dx12 will make a difference. Just because your OS is 64-bit doesnā€™t mean the game is automatically running in 64-bit as well. 32-bit programs can run on a 64-bit OS, just not the other way around. I would try running it with DX12 and ensure youā€™re running the 64-bit version of the game.

Okay, so I checked, it is in 64-bit and the mods work (albeit the hotkeys get a bit messed up) if I run on dx12, and donā€™t work if on dx11. The game glitches out a bit if I run on dx12 though, soo :')

so do these work on the classic patch or ?

Try using DX12 instead of DX11 and it should help with the issue of the mods turning themselves back off.

Nothing works at all. It immediately fails to connect with the game and claims it is a ā€œsuspiciousā€ file by mcafee. Iā€™ve never had this problem before and I shouldnā€™t have to disable my virus protection to make this work. I run this on dx12 btw

You donā€™t have to turn off your AV. You may just need to add some exceptions.

Also, keep in mind that AVs will periodically download new definitions. Those new definitions may trick your AV into thinking WeMod is a potential threat. Adding these exceptions to your AV will ensure that doesnā€™t happen.

Add 10 Skill Points doesnā€™t work

No Toxicity is not working

I think the below might be related to the mods since no other games I use mods for have been giving me problems, but Iā€™m not sure because all the mods were working fine during all this. So I really donā€™t know whatā€™s going on. Been looking everywhere for a solution and canā€™t find it. Hereā€™s the issue:

All my saves from May 23rd would crash on the loading screen. I went back to a May 20th save. It took forever to load, but I was able to play & progress.

Things were fine - and loading super fast - till I tried to Fast Travel from Skellige to Novigrad during the Brothers in Arms quest. The loading screen took forever, and then the new save in Novigrad wouldnā€™t load.

So I went back to the last Skellige save and found a workaround by traveling to White Orchard first. Was able to go from White Orchard to Velen. Completed that leg of the quest with the Keira stories.

Saved games during this period would take forever to load, but they were working.

Then I decided to do Ghosts of the Past so I could recruit Letho.
Completed that, checked the saves, and the game is crashing at the loading screen again.

Hasnā€™t been working since.

So we just gonna ignore the obvious fact, that the 99999999 items bug is caused by this and that some people cant play it on DX11?

This needs an Update really bad

I finally was able to speak via email to someone at CD PROJEKT RED about the above issue, and they suggested it was likely caused by the mods and that I should do a clean reinstall. (I also asked them to look at my latest save file just to see if they could discern the exact problem, and I will post again if I get an answer).

So I did what they recommended and performed a clean reinstall, which included disabling cloud saves. Then I tried to reload my most current save again, and it still crashed. So it definitely seems to be a corrupted save file.

Then I kept going back through saves until I found one that worked: it was a save that was right at the end of the Keira story as you are trying to recruit her, and that was able to load after a reeeally long loading time. (I donā€™t remember if that save had occurred when I had the mods on or off, but either way, it worked.)

So then I was able to complete all the legs of the Brothers in Arms quest, including several of the branching side quests, WITHOUT mods. Saves were still taking forever to load during this period, but they worked.

Now I have reached the Isle of Mists part of the story, and the save in that section is loading very quickly - just as it was BEFORE the last game update. And I still havenā€™t tried the mods again for fear of breaking the game again.

So, seeing as the first time this happened was right after the gameā€™s last update, I think this could mean the game is now buggy and when you add mods on top of that, it breaks the game. OR the mods in general break THIS VERSION of the game and thus need to be updated.

Either way, certain items still register as 99999+, even with the mods OFF, and when you try to pick them up, the game freezes. So, again, a mod update seems to be necessary since they have permanently altered the game. (As well as a game update, but that is obviously not on WeMod.)

Hope this was helpful. I guess the lesson is to beware of the mods till theyā€™re updated.
