Trainers and saved game files

Whenever I use a 100% saved game file that opens all chapters of a game, I notice the WeMod trainers for that game don’t work.

Is this a common occurrence. Don’t understand why there would be a conflict.

Using a 100% save file can sometimes cause trainers to stop working because trainers modify in-game variables, and in a fully completed save, many of those variables are already set to their maximum values.

If the save was created externally (rather than by naturally progressing through the game), key parameters like character stats, inventory, or progress may already be maxed out. This means the trainer may not be able to modify them further.

Another possibility is that the save file comes from a different game version or edition, which can cause memory addresses for cheats to mismatch, preventing the trainer from working correctly.

Additionally, some games have anti-tamper or anti-cheat protections that detect external save files and change how memory functions, which could potentially interfere with a trainer’s ability to apply modifications.
