Is it still crashing? I want to play so bad the new update… I want the new fishes to my aquatic museum ant the new digiverse for my fantasy museum to try to win more stars and try to put all my museums with 10+ stars… (they say max stars is 25)
I can absolutely say it is still crashing upon opening any museum. The game loads, you can open your career but the minute it tries to load the actual museum - its back to the desktop.
Still crashing. No luck yet.
Damn! It’s impossible to play it like that… We need an update asap for the game!!
Honestly, I understand that fixing it might be complex and take time, but what mostly concerns me is the dismissal of the fact that so many players are reporting the same issue: the game is unplayable with the trainer. And yet the mod is not on the update list, and as soon as it gets there, it’s dismissed again, with an explanation that amounts to “well, it works for me.”
Even an acknowledgement of: “we know there’s an issue, we currently don’t know how to fix that, we’re trying” would be better than weeks of silence and dismissal.

Build ID 19762717, new game due to rolling back out of public beta. Immediate crash.
Tested with overlay off, let the game run a bit, then hit play. As soon as mods loaded [none active] crash to desktop.
Overlay off, tried loading mods at loading screen - as soon as the museum loaded, it crashed to desktop.
Game working fine without wemod active, no crashes, etc.
Have switched back to vanilla. Like @ImplicitPancake460, build ID 19762717. Crashes immediately at map selection/loading screen, even with overlay off and no mods active. Game has been working fine if I run it through Steam with WeMod off/not engaged.
Glad to see something happen on this. Build 19762717. I only play stable, worked fine until the recent update, now crashes upon load of map.
Everything was normal before August 27th. After the 5.0 update on August 28th, the game could not be opened with WEMOD. When loading the save file and pressing the start button, the game crashed.
The Two Point Museum cheats have been updated!

THANK YOU!!! I think you did it! I got an email from support this morning and just tried playing the game, “introducing” the mods again one-by-one at various stages and had no issues. Even the overlay worked again! I think that might have done it. Thank you for your work on these mods!

I think the mod, staff and personnel do not work (food, drink, energy and toilets)
I just tried it, and there’s a problem with the staff, the stats go down instead of invincibility mode
The crashing has stopped, but the staff need removals are not working. Everything else seems fine though.
