Something to consider, I have been a Pro user for many years. Due to ever increasing bloat and now mandatory ID checks I have left the windows ecosystem. You are no longer missing out on potential customers due to lack of Linux support, you are actively losing customers and money who flee from the tyranny of Microsoft.

While there’s definitely a growing vocal interest in Linux support, companies like Wand have to weigh development costs against market share. Building and maintaining dedicated Linux builds (and GPU/trainer environments) requires dedicated engineering hours that might not offer a clear ROI yet. At the end of the day, platform decisions are driven by resource allocation.
Regarding age checks and ID verification: these mandates are driven by local laws and legislation affecting tech platforms, not Microsoft inventing restrictions for fun. Open-source ecosystems such as Linux aren’t entirely immune to compliance pressures either. For instance, systemd-userdb recently added an optional birthDate metadata field to accommodate age attestation standards. For now, it is an optional field in Linux, but eventually pressure may make them fold and make it mandatory, just like Microsoft has had to.
