I guess once a game reaches a certain age, the mods creator just goes away. I have Win 11 now and it had to download some runtime library before the game would run at all. So I’m thinking the problem is with Win 11 or some Windows update that just won’t let the mods load. That kind of sucks, but I guess that is the way of things.

Does this mean that there is no hope of there ever being a fix for the crash problem? The game crashes upon startup for me and I can’t seem to be able to remedy it.

I did some testing and it seems the game crashes after a campaign mission is finished if option 2 and/or 3 is on. I’m guessing 3 as it’s requisition and the game can’t handle it being set to max and then add on what you get for completing.
is there any way to fix the game crashing when taking over the final base area for a faction in campaign mode? it crashes my game every time after re doing the entire mission. not sure how to fix. thoughts?
I tried your suggested solution, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. The game still crashes even after disabling the options related to requisition. It seems like the issue persists despite making those adjustments.
Yeah after another mission the game just started crashing again and I just gave up

im finding any mod hates this and you cant use wemod and the dow mod manager at the same time … the dow mod manager has some fixes to make the game run better.
I don’t know if this will still help anyone but if you’re struggling to get the game to load with WeMod, try turning off your in game overlay. Mines been doing it all day and now I’ve turned the overlay off and gone back to using my phone it’s working. Also running the Titanium wars mod don’t know how it will feel about ultimate apoc or anything.

This trainer is very prone to crashing the game, even if you disable the cheats before finishing a mission, you have a fairly high chance of crashing. Constant savegames must be made and the game started back up after crashing without wemod loaded to ensure you can continue playing.
Not worth the hassle. Playing on easy is a better cheat than playing with this trainer. I’d expect this sort of issue on games that are updated. Soulstorm is a very old game.
Not to mention it has the option of using overlay but having the overlay enabled crashes the game on startup.

The cheats for this game have been broken for years now, It is impossible to run the campaign with the cheats enabled as you will get an error stating “Impossible to create dump file” can anyone on the wemod team look into this?

please note, this is the work around for the unfixed issues with the mods:
spend Req after using cheat, or recall something for it to alter. please note the infinite health cheat issue.
