"We ran into a problem loading this tool"

So, I got Infinity a few days ago and it worked fine until today. It launches properly, I can see everything on the main menu but I can’t get it to load any of the Real-Time Mods. I tried restarting the app, my computer, reinstalling and I always run it as admin. What am I supposed to do now? I’m out of ideas.

Are you sure you have properly reinstalled INFINITY from scratch ? Maybe there are some corrupt registry or file entries.

Try to re-download it again, and when you run the Infinity app/tool, make sure to run it as an ADMIN/Administrator, and temporarily disable any Antivirus/AV, as well as firewall on your PC.

You can also add “Infinity” as an exception/exclusion, if using any AV, but better turn it OFF, for the time being.

Disable Windows Defender as well.

If need be, delete the infinity.sdf file which can be found under this OS location, C:\Users\Your username…\AppData\Local\Daring Development\Infinity\Storage\Cache.

Make sure .NET Framework, VC++ Redistributable, as well as the Windows Installer package/files are properly configured and updated on your system, and there are no missing/corrupt registry entries as well.

Something might be blocking the Infinity tool on your system.

Have you made any changes on your system lately ? Installed, and/or removed any kind of Software or Hardware ? What’s your OS build version ?

I have reinstalled again, and now the Real-Time Mods thing doesn’t even show up for any games except Bioshock Infinite, which I do not even own.

Can you screenshot please ?

Also @frank

Also, it seems I can’t log in on the app anymore. @STN

Nevermind! Everything suddenly came back when I somehow got logged in! Sorry for all the trouble!

Although I still have this problem

I’m having this issue now aswell.

What do you mean? This error doesn’t even exist in v2?

Hey.

My mistake. (Was gonna post later).
Basically I’ve been launching Infinity from a shortcut button, but it turns out that it doesn’t prompt an update to V2 when you do it that way. I got the prompt when i launched it from the main file, so its all ok now.
