Wemod caused major crash!

i was starting up the game, Dying Light. using wemod when suddenly this happened (see image) IMG-20210417-113950 — ImgBB
the game didn’t even make it to the start screen. wemod, the game, graphics card driver are all up to date and this crash made my computer unuseable, couldn’t even use the computer mouse. i had to force-restart it to get the computer working again. so what the heck could have happened??

your windows event viewer will have a ton of info on that and will be helpful to submit it to the dev’s and staff in assisting you.

START>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer>Find ‘WIndows Logs’>‘Application’> Filter Out by Sorting events to Critical And Errors to the top> Look for the Dying Light EXE and/or WEmod EXE in the errors and Critical events logs.

Copy and paste the data in the lower pane

this is your DX DirectX11 failing to an error, and seems to be a good number of returns on a google search to that particular file within Dying Light crashing.

Wemod crashed because the DX11 TDR ‘Time Delay Recovery’ error force stopped the Kernel which basically hard stopped your entire system.

In short, Dying light is what crashed your PC, not WeMod

Hope that helps

makes sense, unfortunately. the gaming aspect of my computer has been so messed up lately. not running near as good as it should.
thanks

no problem buddy, i am a IT Professional, the next step if it continues is to repair or just reinstall DX altogether
