Wemod closes when I start the game

When I start any game, we mod closes, and the game itself starts :neutral_face: I do not know what to do. I’ve been reading the forum and I haven’t found an answer.

Hi! And welcome to the community :slight_smile: If you haven’t already, please try adding exclusions for these two folders in your antivirus:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod and C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

I did as you said, but we mod is closing anyway

I seem to be having the same problem too. anyone has found the solution to this? i’ve tried the above solution and still doesn’t work

I see. Can you try to disable or turn off your antivirus software? Then please try to find and remove any WeMod-related files from your PC. Also, delete WeMod from the AppData directory and Squirrel from the temp folder. Then, restart your computer and attempt to reinstall.

Download and install the WeMod offline installer: https://api.wemod.com/client/download

Then try running the installer as an administrator to give it the necessary permissions. See if it helps.

hey thanks!! it worked for me so far. I deleted the appdata directory and squirrel (and tbh any wemod-related folders/files) and did a reinstall with the offline installer as admin. I also disabled the wemod overlay feature. :slight_smile:

hopefully this continues to work with no issue. thank you again!
