All of a sudden the WeMod site stop recognizing that I even had the program downloaded despite recognizing me and allowing me to sign into the account. I kept getting the prompt to download the program. And the program would not open with the old icon I had on my desktop. So I downloaded the program and got an exe file in my download file. But when I try to open this file to re-download WeMod I get an error prompt about an “invalid impersonation.” I kept trying again and again and ended up with about 7 exe files backed up on my desktop. So I thought maybe I should have uninstalled WeMod before re-downloading it. So I did that. Same deal. Cannot re-install the program. I have no access to it now. I’m completely locked out from using the program even though I’m logged in. What happened?

I think you should remove the entire program from your desktop completely. Navigate to the Start menu find the WeMod icon (If you still have it) right-click and select uninstall, This should prompt your computer to open the ‘Uninstall/Change program’ find WeMod and double click it. allow your system whatever permissions it needs and DO NOT yet go through the ‘setup’ (leave it open). Go to your app data folder (to navigate there simply type this ’ %AppData% ’ my computer automatically moves me to the roaming subfolder but I’m not sure if yours will. Now (if in roaming subfolder exit to the AppData folder then) select local, find the WeMod folder enter it select all files in the folder EXCLUDING the uninstall file and delete them (This does not have to be in one selection). Then go back to the uninstall window, complete the uninstall process. Now try and find a nice free (free trial) disk cleaner that will remove all temporary files and caches on your device. (go through whatever steps you need to for it to work, tell me if you can’t find a good one that does its job). If it has come to such a large problem then I believe you should select necessary files move them to an external drive and wipe your system. If you would not like to do that then you can complete the install on a separate system and move it over to your computer or have someone else email you a link to a Cloud storage website with a folder containing the files ( I can do this for you if you would like). And once you get the app up and running again you should set your release channel to beta (it says there might be bugs but there hasn’t been anything major with it for me) besides that there have been 0 problems with my WeMod installation. Anyway I hope this helped you if it didn’t maybe i can do a zoom meeting with you and you can screen share and I can attempt to help you further. Bye.
