What I wished I knew before I downloaded

I wish I knew just how many games were pro-only, I played through the entirety of Hitman 2 and I needed something to screw around with, I saw wemod on youtube and downloaded it. Never said anywhere it was behind a paywall. What I’m trying to say is, not all games should be paid-only, you guys say not all the games are paid-only, but all of the games in my Steam library have paid-only features. Please don’t crucify me in the comments, I’m just trying to offer valid criticism.

Every trainer is free to use,the paid feature the you’re likely encountering is the ability to toggle cheats with the mouse, which is a Pro exclusive.
Kind of annoying IMO,as it used to be a free feature as well, but a small nuisance overall.
Unlike other cheat providers tho,you can do anything in Wemod without spending a penny, and get QoL features as a Pro bonus like the opportunity to vote on which trainers are made and the ability to toggle cheats remotely via phone app.

There are no pro only trainers. You just need to use the hotkeys.
See here: Why can't I use cheats without Pro? - WeMod Support

Overview of the Pro features can be found here: Pro Features - WeMod Support

As others have said, there are no Pro-only trainers or Pro-only trainer options.

You need to use the hotkeys displayed on the right of the cheats, if you are not a Pro user.
Using hotkeys is how trainers have worked long before WeMod even existed.

Other methods of cheat activation, such as clicking them, using the remote app or using the game bar overlay, are some of the features we offer Pro members to say thanks for supporting WeMod.

Bear in mind that WeMod does actually have the right to lock its trainers away behind a subscription fee if it wanted to, like all of our main competitors have done. If you enjoy WeMod, consider giving back to help us maintain the software - it’s not cheap maintaining a software of this magnitude.

I’m dumb. Didn’t know mouse-click was pro-only and I had to use keybinds.
It still doesn’t make that much sense, you would think that keybinds was pro-only and mouse-click was free.

Using the mouse makes cheats easier to use for some trainers, for example when you need to select an inventory item or weapon from a list (see State of Decay’s trainer for example). In this case clicking a drop-down box is easier and quicker than cycling through the list with a hotkey. This privilege of ease of access is reserved for Pro members.

It doesn’t make sense to make keyboard hotkeys a Pro feature because they’ve been the standard way of activating trainers (for free) for decades (trainers have been around and activated by keyboard hotkeys since the 1980s). We’re not going to change the way trainers have worked for years / the way the majority of cheaters know how to activate trainers by default.
