I’m planning on flashing my old MW2 edition since my 2007 model finally e74 and can’t be repaired cheaply.
I have a slim as well for online play (unmodded) so online is not a problem for me however i need to know if jtag/rgh consoles will allow me to transfer my chevos if i use USB stick for profile from one console to another?
I’m sure most of your questions were answered, but I didn’t read all the comments just a few and I noticed something.
You shouldn’t be trying to decide between flashing a console or RGHing a console IMO.
All flashing does is let you play copied discs.
RGH is just like a JTAG. You can’t go online, you can play games off of a hard drive/USB, you can mod a lot more, play ROMs, etc. It’s EXACTLY like a JTAG except the method to do it is different. The outcome is the same however.
If all you want to do is play copied discs then just flash your console.
If you want to take it to the next level and unlock so much more, then go for the RGH. But definitely research it a bit more. Youtube it and what not:)
If you get a rgh u can go online
if u get a flashed drive u can play online
but for the RGH in order for you to take it online u will need to buy a server spot
on a server. it will cost u $250 a week to bring your rgh online…
Coming from an RGH owner the you cant go online part is false, you need a stealth service and kvs but you can sooooo
