The game is really bad, just compare it to BFBC2, a game which is 2 years old already or even BFBC and you can tell that these games would have been superior if anyone took notice of them, im happy for DICE that they have got 1m advertising funds to out sack MW3, because thats what i hope it does. How? Call of Duty has never “revolutionized” anything. At all.
Apart from Arcade shooters. All they did was make a ‘OKAY’ Story that actually changed the way people player FPS, some now play it for the stories others play it for Multiplayer.

I’m a fan of Halo, BF and CoD, and have bought every game of theres since I can remember. And I am exited for all there upcoming games.
Since the thread was made about CoD I’ll stick to it, I still enjoy the game with my friends because it is a good laugh and we have fun on it.
Just hit the mute button if you think the people are annoying (which I do every game) and also play hardcore if your annoyed by people sucking in bullets or whatever.
I have been playing online CoD since CoD 4 MP,and I have only every played Hardcore SnD because it is the best game mode to play with friends and it does require some skill to know the maps and the good spots and the guns to use.
Its a fun game with millions of people enjoying it, dont be a ***** cause you dont like it, just move on.

I can happily say, I haven’t been in a game on CoD4 or WaW for months without people having ‘godmode.’ The last thing I remember about that was when Lee found the method to get ‘godmode.’

Activision are hosting the event because they care about their fans. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t bother hosting any events that lets fans of the franchise go and meet some of the team.
MS price the map packs, not Infinity Ward or Treyarch or Activision. So don’t be hating on them.

Yes, the game gets boring after a while but that’s because all they ever change is the maps, the graphics, and the guns. Not the gameplay. If they were to change things up a little, it would be much, much better. You could just break them in half and use them to slit your wrists. It saves the time needed to walk to the kitchen to grab a knife.
I care about the game and the community as well. I want all games to have a great community with fair gamers. It’s how I want it to be. it’s how it should be.
I understand some mods here and there. For instance, Clan Tag mods, they don’t affect the gameplay but they change things up a bit. Quarantine Mod for World at War Zombies. Once again, I like it, it’s fun and can last for hours. The only rank modding I understand would be if your account got banned and you were already 10th on MW2. Are you really going to rank all the way back up or do you just want it to be like old times. That still doesn’t excuse the douches running around with God Mode, Noclip, and Infinite Ammo. If Treyarch actually cared, they would patch it.
I believe that it’s the parents fault for letting them play the game. The kids still need to grow up and shut up or GTFO. If you don’t like it, that’s why there’s a mute button. If there is a 10 year old telling you to grow some balls, bring up that at least yours have dropped. I believe one day we’re all going to slip up and the world will come to an end. At the rate society is going now, it’s going to be like the movie “Idiocracy”. If they’re dumb enough to think they can respawn in real life, they deserve to die (unless they have mental problem or disorders and they don’t know better).
I hate some of them. They’re rushed, they need to take time and not just be in it for the money. The spawns fail because the company has no idea on how to place spawns. I’ll admit this right now, there have been times while playing games when I raged so bad I threw my console (Than god it still worked! XD). It shouldn’t be that hard to fix them, they seem to care more about ‘What can we do to get more money and distract from the flaws of our games?’.
Each map has it perks and quirks. I like some small maps, take Rust for instance, it’s great for quick-scoping and throwing knife fights (me and my friends have these all the time). I like most big maps but then there is lack of action. A medium size map is the way to go. Once again, they don’t care about the spawn system as they have already paid for it, they can’t get their money back (mainly talking about DLC).
It has it’s good moments. Russia has spies in the US, all they really have to do is cause a distraction big enough to pull the attention of the navy, the army, and the air force and then they’ll have the upper hand when they invade. Kill. Adapt. Progress. Full scale invasions yes, but we’ve been being invaded for a while. By spies, illegals, etc. It’s a game, it’s not going to be 100% realistic. Take Halo for example. What are the chances of there being rings in space that would destroy the universe that an Extremist Alien Race want to activate and on top of that, being inhabited by a parasite that takes over the host in an attempt to wipe out all life in the universe? Keep in mind that Halo is one of the most popular series and has been for years.
It’s a company. They are there for money, while they have so many fans they’re going to milk them for as much as they can while they can. Society is growing stupid, I can’t believe how much games are costing, I hate it, yet I’m buying a ton of games being released later this year and early next year.
1200msp is they’re way of saying “We don’t care, we just want your money.” I am a fan of the Battlefield Bad Company 2 VIP System, mainly because it’s cheap and well worth it.
I enjoy Quick-scoping. It’s easy. It’s great for mini battle with friends. Trickshotting may be easy, but almost everyone on Xbox LIVE who trick shots isn’t actually trickshotting. Most of my friends call me bad because I will be winning a quick scoping match with them and when about to get the last kill they say “You have to get a Trick Shot as the final kill.” Then I will jump off a roof, spin 3 times, and quick scope headshot them from all the way across the map and they say “Your Bad.” I’ll say “Why’s that.” Then they say “That’s not trick shotting.”
I will be buying more Call of Duty games, I will watch Call of Duty trailers and I bet you will too. You will never know when one will just pop up during a commercial break on TV. It will never be made illegal.

I’m pretty sure that everyone can agree to all of this at one point or another. I myself have always found the CoD games amusing and fun AT FIRST. Then it gets a little irritating. Then it gets boring. Then it’s just whatever, only play it cause my friends play it and I want to have fun with them.
I have felt that with all the CoD games. But recently i’ve slowly turned a bunch of my friends to go play BFBC2… and my plan is working.
But other than all of that, I know I am going to go buy MW3 just to play it for S’s and G’s, get bored of it, and end up just playing it with my friends for fun. Ugh.
Sorry but CoD 4 did not revolutionize shooters for the Xbox360. The shooter that started it for the Xbox 360 was Call Of Duty 2 and Halo 3. People can argue and say other wise but Call of Duty 2 is what started CoD’s popularity and helped bring in gamers who didn’t have a dedicated FPS at that time.

The vehicles in Battlefield are fine, because people don’t always roadkill and people can’t jump over the car to avoid it. Moving out of the way would work, so to call them unstoppable juggernauts is stupid.
To counter nube tubers> i use them my self yes i hate them i only use to counter if this does not work i use my try hard class ump coldblooded pro silencer etc. and lay in grass and w8 <<lol. once and a while when there are more than 2 nube tubers they just randomly shoot every where at that point its time to leave the game.
If u get put into a game where no1 is on ur team u should probally leave since every1 else did so u should know y.
When i play mw2 i play for real/fun i like to go positive cause i know im not bad at all but i use stupid clases. or fun classes as i should say. i enjoy the game but not the people that play it. this game gunna go down the drain if they keep giving stupid classes/perks
If mw3 has any gay azz killstreaks such as carpetbomb from BO im not playing it its gunna get abused. anything to do with BS Exsplosives i aint playing it abusers gunna abuse/players gunna play. im in the players category.
No matter how bad it is, people will still be playing it just because it has Call Of Duty in the title.

Okay I have just played Cod4 and it was a lot of fun so this thread doesn’t count towards that game because it is by far the best of the series however the infections are still there and I don’t see a patch any time soon. I hate them all.
Dont blame the quickscopers they are what keeps the community legit and their youtube videos have the power to help make call of duty better.

GOW: Frequent lag, Semi-repetitive gameplay, some immature players
BFBC2: Large maps, lots of time spent running, mass campers, jerky movement
