Please, for the love of god and compact UIs, do not force me to have a “Clips” section open if your plan is to roll out the “new” game page.
I don’t want to record my gameplay.
I don’t want to watch my highlights.
I want cheats, and maaaaybe a map if I want to enable it.
I have WeMod (No idea what’s up with the rebrand, I ain’t calling it Wand ) open in a small section of my 2nd monitor, and the dumbass “Clips” panel takes up an enormous amount of space when I just want to see my cheat options.
I’ll be disabling the “New” game page until I’m forced to use it, then I’ll head to another platform.
Hey Cyflect, thanks for taking the time to share your honest feedback we hear you. I understand how frustrating it can be when changes to the UI impact how you personally use the app, especially when you’ve got a specific setup that works for you that you are just so use to.
We’ve gone ahead and forwarded your feedback to the team, Your input is valuable, and we truly appreciate you as a long time customer. If you have any other suggestions or concerns, feel free to let us know we’re always listening.
Maybe set it up so that it’s collapsible. Like if i’m not interested in certain UI features, just allow us to collapse it or expand it as desired. It bears mentioning- allow the program to remember our settings. Like if we leave it closed, then the next time we use it, it stays closed. Annoying if we have to close it every time we boot up the computer.
I agree, completely agree with this. I have zero interest in recording clips at all. There really should be a way within the apps options to permanently disable it from being visible at all. It takes up way too much space making what I want to see and access a pain to sort out.
Are there any alternatives to switch too? This app just isn’t what I’m looking for anymore, all the new features and everything are stuff i’m never going to be interested in using and just want something without all this extra clutter, it seems like the mods are no longer the focus anymore.
I agree wholeheartedly with the OP. If people, for whatever reason, want to make clips of them using cheats/trainers, it’s nice that they have, yet another tool that can facilitate recording. (Yet another, as Windows has the functionality built in via the Xbox-stuff, and some DRM-providers like Steam also have the functionality built in. But I suppose Choice is always nice.)
The main difference between Wand and the others, is that Wand pushes it in your face, and you don’t have a way to disable the functionality completely. (As in, that even though you disable it in the settings, it’s still in the usage-interface all the time.)
So where are we with this? It seems to have gotten worse, I do not want to see all the games in my Steam library, just the ones installed. I do not want in-game hints or clips, etc. Is there a way to turn all this crap off?
