Hi there! I assume you purchased your game from steam. Have you attempted launching the game initially on steam, waiting until you can freely navigate within the game world, and then opening the mods by clicking PLAY on WeMod App? Make sure to use the most recent trainer version, which you can check by going to the Mods version under Mod settings.
when launching wildfrost (with mods) like with steam workshop mods, the wemod mods dont work. Wemod says “playing” and when clicking the options they immediately get shut off, thats what i was requesting, like when people play modded slay the spire with steam workshop mods
I see. As far as I know, WeMod is designed to function as a standalone trainer. Using other mods alongside the WeMod app may cause conflicts and prevent the game or trainer from working correctly.
Greetings, to second @Zlockzorn , I have the same issue and I think it’s because when launching Wildfrost with Steam, you have two options, without or with the mods from the steam workshop. And basically if you look at the files in steamapps/common/Wildfrost , you have the Wildfrost_Data folder and the .exe file for the normal version. But you have also a “Modded” folder in which you have a different Wildfrost_Data folder and .exe file for the modded version. So at the end you have two different .exe files and two different Wildfrost_Data folders for the two versions. The modded version is in a separate directory but has the same architecture as the “normal” version. I think the current trainer only detect the “normal” version. I don’t know if it targets the .exe file or files within the Wildfrost_Data folder but as the same files from the modded version are in a separate folder, I believe that’s what cause the issue. Would be great if the trainer could be applied to the other one. Best
Edit : Also just tried and without any mod activated but using the modded version, the trainer still doesn’t work
Hi! Thanks for the information. Please try to Verify integrity Files by right-clicking on the game and click Properties. Click on the Local Files tab. Click on Verify Integrity of Game Files. Then force quit/close the WeMod App then re-launch the apps. Launch the game first initially on steam and once you are on the game world or main menu, launch wemod app and click Play and check if issue persists.
I’m not sure for sure, but perhaps the logic of the script breaks down, the ability of the final boss at stage 2 is “reduces its health by half when a unit dies” and perhaps when the god mod is turned on, this ability is damage and the boss can be considered an ally and reduces this damage to 0. This is my guess
+1 on the final Boss crash. It triggers on the ability + godmode. Rather annoying. If you oneshot him its fine, but I would like to play out the fight so it “bugs” me a lot.
Hello! WeMod adds new trainers based on their popularity among users. If you want a trainer for a specific game, go to the game’s page on WeMod and click Notify Me on the Trainer. Once enough users show interest, the game will be added to the queue, which could lead to the development of a trainer for the game.
