None of the old headsets for the X360 will work for communication, only for TV audio. None of the regular X360 controllers will work since the XBone uses new controllers. Therefore I don’t foresee any of the current modified X360 controllers working for the Xbone either.
Funny looking controller - do the paddles really help that much over the controllers that simply use push buttons on the back or a modified chip inside? Relatively inexpensive compared to a good Viking Controller though…
Probably won’t. Doesn’t have anything to do with the headsets though like the user above stated. Headsets don’t work because Xbox One voice chat uses a whole different bitrate and/or frequency. I don’t see it working for Xbox One because they probably use a different signal to connect the controllers to the consoles. Plus the new controllers for the Xbox One are the same basically but have a load of new features. Like the haptic feedback in the triggers.
Just wait for other people to make modded controllers for next gen consoles. Also if I were you I wouldn’t spend that much money on a modded controller. Complete waste IMO. If you’re going to spend money on a controller get one from a real company like Razer. They make great controllers for competitive play. And their wired which means they have a faster response time than any wireless controller on the market. And if you play in tourneys and what not you have to use wired controllers.
