Do you have the GOTY edition by any chance?

The standard edition of this game is no longer available for purchase from the Epic Games store.
It has been replaced by the GOTY edition, with players owning the standard edition being offered to upgrade to the GOTY edition for a price.

We’ll need to do some tests on our end to see how, if at all, this affects the trainer. Please bear with us. :slight_smile:

We’ve done our tests.

If you have World War Z GOTY edition, then a separate trainer will need to be made for this game version, since the game’s developer has not kept the game engine’s code between the two versions consistent.

We have added the option to vote for it in the WeMod desktop app.

It would really be great to add unlimited items to the trainer or atleast once an item is picked up it can be used over and over…

Have upgraded to GOTY edition trainer still works as per normal in OFFLINE mode…

@GODSPEEDSNAKE just tested it, it works! just make sure you’re in offline mode and the trainer won’t crash the game.

i did not buy but i think my game has been updated to GOTY edition, just that the new map and characters are locked.

not able to use the cheat at all, not sure why some are able to use it

Of course, or you’ll get an immediate ban from online game! And BTW, it’s good if you’ll be banned if you cheat online vs or co-op legit players.

Anything to do with ONLINE at all even if its private online, will result in a ban.

seems like the one hit kill cheat is not working properly as of right now, unless I am doing something wrong.

i figured it out finally… I seem to have the Epic GOTY edition… oh well. maybe we will see an update for that at some point, till then I can now expect parts of the trainer to not work.

Yes, the GOTY version is slightly different from the standard edition, so the trainer will not be 100% compatible with it. See this post here: World War Z Cheats and Trainer for Epic Games

What Epic did is that they gave World War Z away for free for a week. And then about a week after that, they removed the standard World War Z from their store and replaced it with the GOTY version. They then offered everyone who had the standard edition to pay to upgrade to the GOTY edition, including those who got the standard edition free. Very cheeky of them to do that, actually.

You can vote for a GOTY version of the trainer in the WeMod desktop app. And you can use your referral link to invite others to do the same while being rewarded for it. :slight_smile:

Don’t forget that free games are often posted here in the community. So you’ll have something to grab and do while waiting for updates or new trainers. :slight_smile:

I have a problem, I start the game in offline co-op mode, and when I activate any cheat, my game crashes. Is it just me or…?

Changes:

  • Bug fixes and game compatibility improvements

Please make sure you’re using the most recent trainer by clicking the History button, which is underneath the Play button in the trainer.

And make sure that you’re following the instructions in the trainer, @nachtheuler. The game will crash for those who are not following the trainer’s activation instructions correctly. :slight_smile:

Game crashes now 2 seconds into game after launch, asking to send report or not to. I was just using it this morning, I do not know what happened.

Are you trying to use it online or for singleplayer ?
