Would you think Wasabi 360 Ultra is worth it?

[size=20]So i was thinking about getting this for my xbox once it is Xbox Live compatible.

It’s $100 but what i like about it is that its like hidden but one of the things i don’t know about is the memory. since it is in the spot where your HDD would go. I would be getting it for the Phat version.

Here is a video of it

and here is a picture of the updated version

The ultimate ODDE (Optical Disc Drive Emulator), allows you to emulate your 360’s optical disc drive and run Xbox 360 or Xbox 1 ISO’s from HDD. No more hunting for game discs, simply execute your favourite ISO’s from any ESATA HDD. Easy, fast, safe and convenient.

Features include:

  • Solderless installation
  • Selection of your favourite ISO’s via our intuitive user interface
  • Support for AP25 enabled ISO’s
  • ESATA interface is used in place of USB providing superior performance, since data is transferred directly between the ESATA HDD and Xbox 360 resulting in impressively high bandwidth, many times faster than reading from a real DVD disc
  • Elegant and streamlined console inspired case design
  • Versions available for both fat and slim consoles
  • NTFS file system natively supported
  • Powerful embedded CPU running performance tuned Real Time Operating System
  • Regular firmware updates available free for download
  • Fully updatable hardware (MCU and FPGA’s) from ESATA HDD including a failsafe recovery mode
  • No need to modify your original ODD
  • Hardware selectable pass through mode - providing access to the original ODD

Features coming soon:

  • Xbox Live compatibility
  • Dumping of X360 ISO’s from original discs

I don’t know much about it so far since i just discovered it but if anyone knows of any flaws other than it not being xbox live compatible (yet) then please let me know

This looks awesome. I would buy it.

Id buy it. But wasnt there another thing like this that was going to release soon??

If you have the money I guess. Seems a lot easier and takes less time than downloading and then burning games.

xk3y is live compatible i believe.

i like it, but i dont have a slim :anguished:

Yeah but this seems a lot more simple haha. plus this is suppose to be live compatible soon and you can go on live with it. It has a stealth mode but you can’t play the games off it. so you can only play discs

its for Phats and Slims

Yeah dude definately buy that, totally worth it because in the long run, you only spent 100 bucks instead of 60x how many ever games you would have bought

Drive emulators are a cheaper alternative if you burn a lot of games. But I can buy 150 disc for that price which will take me forever to use.

Also just to let you know that is $45 more than what they pay for them

No ODDE is currently live safe, c4eva has stated countless times that it will most likely never be live safe.
