I have opened up my Xbox 360 because there was so much dust and then I used a vacuum to get it all out I also disconnected the disc drive then I put everything together and now when I start up my Xbox the green light in the middle of the power button just constantly flashes and there is not video on the TV and the disk drive has some issues opening and closing.
Could anyone help me please?
Have you tried taking it back apart and seeing if something is loose or disconnected?
The disk drive might not be plugged in all the way because the green light was flashing when I dosconnected the Dvd drive one time.
What Insane Power said, your Dvd drive isn’t connect right.
Please. Never use a vacuum on a motherboard again. It probably didn’t cause your problem, but if you continue to use that method for dust removal, you will end up with a big problem.
Don’t use a vaccum for cleaning! Use one of those dust remover air cans
Thanks for your help I just fixed it I took it apart again and put it back and now it works like normal with no sticky drive.
Yeah I know but I didn’t have one at the moment and I haven’t cleaned my xbox for over 2 it was full of dust.
